What I like is team which have an identity. Sarries is ruthless efficienty, Exeter is all about home grown toughness and team spirit. Leicester should just be full of the hardest bastards in England instead they've lost their identity and I think they need to recover it.

Yer the teams that do well have a unique quality or trait. I also find if fans can identify with these traits than it improves their connection with the club.even though I'm a Bath fan I really like the atmosphere exter have created. The likes of nowell slade Cowan dickie sam simmonds. They're all home grown talents who grew up together and are really proud of Exeter as a Cornish team. This has continued with exter offering 14 new contracts to their academy players. Whilst I'm fine with overseas players I think if the core of the team is local it creates a better team spirit.

I agree, I don't mind overseas players coming in but only if they bring skills and qualities that they can't find anywhere else. Where as you see in France they'll sign a player because of how many all black caps they have

Stuart Barnes wrote a pretty good article on Ford recently, essentially saying that Ford just plays it safe and cautious now when he used to play with creativity and flair. I think the structure of the back line could work well if we have Ford/Toomua in a Ford/Farrell type model when Ford is back at his best and once Manu is back to full fitness

Fords an incredible player, his running to the line, the accuracy of his passing and decision making is second to none, everyone has bad games, think your being a bit harsh on the kid, still strongly believe he will grow into a star player for England, maybe Leicester isn’t for him but in my eyes he’s still an especially good player.

As a Tigers fan, George Ford simply doesn't offer enough on the park unless he has front foot ball to play off. He's massively exposed defensively, falls to bits on the back foot and he's been worked out and adjusted for by domestic and especially international defences. Tomu asked questions and has a bit of fizz and gets the boys moving. What I find funny is the form fly half Danny cipriani has been accused of wearing a dinner jacket and being on the back foot and not taking the ball to the line?! Yet jones play ford every week and yet he has zero physicality?
