Your Ray Ban Meta Smartglasses Wayfarer purple back 💜 drop studio presentation is spot on, but check this scene out my brotha: Can you imagine yourself sitting comfortably down in your studio living room across from a very attractive female of YOUR CHOICE and using the same script as you already are and sipping on a Chablis, cheese, and crackers? That purple studio set up is what's happening, GMONEY... You got Smartglasses wearing charisma! Anyways, continue being you... I'm sold, as my pair of Wayfarer's is in the prescription process as I eagerly await that call to Smartglasses wearing tech paradise! 😅

To reply to your question, I think more battery, more sharing app, longer video,better waterproof 🌊, one zoom option, better camera... accessories like ring remote... But yeah its great and I might have a pair soon

Thanks for letting me know! I’ve tested out couple different scenarios recently where it still struggles to identify certain items in front of it. I’m hoping that they continue to tweak and update them. But that doesn’t away from how impressive I think these are to me.

Great video thanks 1- How is the livestream quality and do you still have battery after 30mn stream? 2- Transition .. is it ok to wear always sunglasses all the time when you go out ? ,3last question (thanks if you read until here): It looks like you only need the frame to record video.. prescriptions on Rayban meta are really expensive (+350£) would it be possible to take out the lenses and ask another optician to add the correct lenses prescription?

Thanks for watching! And let me try and answer for you: 1. The livestream quality is as similar as the video quality, pretty clear to be coming from the glasses. 2. With transition lenses, being that they go back to regular clear glasses when inside. I have yet to see a problem with the. 3. Yes, you can but once you take them out on your own (or another vendor) that voids the warranty of the glasses. So in order to keep the warranty you must use an authorized LensCrafters location. are you wearing the large or X-Large? I just ordered the large transitional wayfarer with my insurance $414. I got 30 days to try them out with LensCrafters

On the Raybans site I choose the “50-22” sizing which RayBan suggests this fits most people. So I’m guessing that’s the large because there’s only 1 other additional size. But I hope you like them when they come in, let me know what you think once you get em!

Yea you can swap out the lenses, the actual lenses don’t hold the technology it’s in the frame themselves, so swapping out the lenses would be fine. But I’d say “err on the side of caution” if doing it yourself because that would void the manufactures warranty. Go to a certified LensCrafters location near you to get those swapped out. Hope that helps!

I bought rayban stories, just before the meda glasses came out. I retied and brought the glasses with me to the Philippines. It didn't even last 3 months. First, the audio stopped working, shortly after the video and the still shot camera. I bought the transition lens glass. It's just glasses now. Never abused or dropped them. Not very solid state tech.

You may want to look and see if that’s covered under the warranty I’ve had them since October of 2023, and they’ve worked fine for me, 0 complaints on my end. A local LensCrafters would do the job but yes if they just stopped work and no damage was done to them, I highly suggest you to go and see if that’s covered under warranty. Sorry that they haven’t worked out well for you.

Great point but I think with the flashing indicator light that all goes out the window in that moment because now the person can infer “something is up” which I’m glad it’s there and not an option to remove.

@@semajdenzel Google Glass had that. There were tutorials on how to hardwire out the light/sensor within weeks. And then they got jailbroken - the light could be patched out. The timing limit on this version will also be patched out as well. For those with bad intentions but no tech skills, they will become available with alterations as a service. I also wonder just how visible the light is under good lighting - like outside a school. This is spyware, pure and raw.

@@onenote6619 Valid points, and when it comes to that point nothing is gonna stop a “bad actor” from using technology in ways that it wasn’t intentionally created for. As you can see among multiple products, including the one you’ve pointed out. So that’s never gonna change with any product, I would hope companies make it extremely difficult for bad actors to manipulate tech in that manner but “when there’s a will there’s a way.” But I greatly appreciate your viewpoint on this, hope to see you around in the comments in other videos as well!

@@semajdenzel The bad actors will tar you with their stink. A method - tape with a pinhole in it - has already been discovered and it only get worse from here. When someone is found using these in a gym changing room or outside a school, you are the same as them in a public sense.

Those are the same ones I have the G15 green transitions, that’s strange though should be a “Grey” option. Maybe they’re in high demand at this point. Now the glasses are already water resistant with an IPX4 rating, which will be fine against light rain but not submerge-able, best to keep them as dry as possible. Hope that helps!
