It is not actually the tint on the windows that prevent the lens from getting dark. It is the car windows themselves. They are made to filter out UV rays which is what makes the transition lens darken.

She looks good and I just got my ray bans and I love them but I think I want the clear ones I have the dark shades

Thank you 🤗 The lenses are so hard to decide on right?! That was the hardest thing to figure out. I started with the dark too, then the clear and ended up with transition just knowing I can’t drive in them (the tint stops them changing).
