I am completely puzzled as to why in the discussions relating to this US-russia-ukraine-nato chess game we have been having for months there has never been any mention until last evenings guest and onky him of what would appear to be tremendous leverage Russia has versus the US relating to their sale, seemingly as sole sources to the US of heavy crude oil and enriched uranium without which our trucking and military equipment can be brought to a halt and our nuke plants producing electricity can be reduced in capacity by a third. I'd like to see everyone move away from the term "deep inside" Russia. How about we use terminology directly related to the weapon being used or proposed to be used. Example: "So and so said that Putin was drawing a red line on the use of weapon X that has a range of Y kilometers which could or could not reach Moscow or St. Petersburg. Speak to exactly 'what' could be hit by the weapon under discussion. Deep inside is just some nebulous concept that isn't accurately descriptive and could even get us in trouble.
