Great television, by a great presenter, woodsman, conservationist, and humanitarian. I love revisiting these older shows; they never get old, no matter how many times I watch them.

A very special and touching episode. Very much enjoyed it and as always learned a lot from it. This time not only about bushcraft but how much a like we all are.

I feel also a kinship to other hunter gatherers and indigenous people everywhere. Ray Mears respect and simply openness would make him welcome. Excellent journey; I felt a little like I was there too. Thank you

Wow! How lucky am I that I was able to watch this. Thank you Ray Mears for enabling us to have even a glimpse of the majesty of real human culture, and to truly feel the realisation that we're all connected. Your sensitivity and vision is truly empowering for us, your audience. I'm inspired to know that I'm much more than just a suburban resident; that it's within my means to access meaningful, ancient knowledge and in turn share it with others. I'm proud to be human, proud to be your brother. Wow. I didn't think I'd gush so. My tears have dried, and I'm going to make a cup of cocoa. :)

The lives of the people of the bush might be much shorter and without the amenities of modern life. However, they are us, and in many ways much happier than us. No encumberances of modernity.
