So funny funny funny. I should have known better. REALLY SHOULD cause I love Ray Stevens and yes I know Rays' comedy. BUT after watching a more serious Kristofferson interview where he said Ray Stevens first recorded a serious version of this song and the first time he heard it on the Radio he went outside and sat down on the stoop and cried. SO yes Ray can SING straight. Maybe it's just not in him all that often. Meantime he had me in stitches right away here. Thank you RAY even though I'd love to hear the straight version by you too. May RAY always bring us smiles and whimsy and Stay safe everyone as of today this has over 2 million views. How cool is that and everything is beautiful with Ray Stevens touch.
