Ray played a character named Webb Covington and the guy singing with him on stage (Leigh McCloskey) was playing his son. The 1983 'Me' album is fantastic from start to finish. This song became an immediate favorite...well, the entire album is great in my opinion. I think Leigh McCloskey had a role on "Dallas" for a couple of years prior to this appearance but I'd have to look it up to see what character he played...a boyfriend of Lucy Ewing?!
