I went to a small church as a little girl and @ Christmas my cousin got a “Creepy Crawler”maker and made all sorts of spiders and bugs. Sister Ida would get filled with The Spirit from time to time and would run up & down the isles of the church screaming and stomping her heels against the floor and waving her handkerchief and get others to shouting along. Well, after we sang one Sunday morning after Sunday School the pastor asked us to bow our heads. My cousin had laid a black “Creepy Crawler”spider on Sister Ida’s purse that was on her lap.As she bowed her head she began to scream and shout.Well other members were already joining in and my great uncle saw the big hairy looking spider which is in the floor by now so he jumps up and starts stomping, well more people start to shout and praise the Lord. Every time he stomped the spider it bounced since it was rubbery which caused him to stomp it again so by now half the church is having a Sunday morning “Come To Jesus “ praise service and my aunt realized about that time what was happening and snatched my cousin up and out of church they went. All the kids are thinking he’s getting the spanking of a lifetime but my aunt was outside bent double laughing so hard she couldn’t spank anybody,so my cousin got away with the whole debacle. Had the pleasure of seeing Ray in concert twice at the Great Frederick Fair in Frederick, Md. With the range of his music he could take the crowd from laughing hysterically to almost in tears. The tickets to both of those concerts were birthday presents from my dad, whom I just lost back in April. I'll never forget the great times that we had at those 2 shows.

I got to see Ray perform at his club in Nashville in 2019. He performed nonstop for about 90 minutes, at 80 years old. He is still one of the best entertainers around.

I always love to listen to Ray. Puts a bright spot in my day. I would really love to see Ray and Weird Al" Yankovic get together and do some songs. I'm sure that would be a "wild and crazy" thing to hear. Bless you Ray keep up the great work.

Iv'ed loved Ray's music since I was a kid, because of my late parents and I'm 37 now with 3 of my owne. All 3 of my kids 16, 11, and 9 all love his music just as much, especially times like now this is what we really need is the great humor from the legend himself that's family friendly.
