7:10 Native American English speaker here. In this case, starting a sentence with "That [indep. cause] is [adj]" is something I've never heard. It may be correct in certain textbooks but it's quite unnatural. It's better here to preface with "THE FACT THAT," making it "The fact that the game was canceled disappointed everyone." Alternatively, you can do what 阿滴 did at 9:07 and make it "It disappointed everyone that the game was canceled." You can also say "It disappointed everyone the fact that the game was canceled" but the "the fact" here is a bit wordy and can be done without. 很好看的内容 !
