And she swept every category she was nominated in (she had two nominations for “song of the year”) Her number of nominations was also a record And she broke the glass ceiling by becoming the first woman to win “songwriter of the year”

I thoroughly recommend anyone to listen to her Album My 21st Century Blues. The production is absolutely sublime. It is actually tiring at times how it pulls on every emotion. She sings every style of music possible with ease. Live recommendations are... 1) Oscar winning tears live at the Royal Albert hall 2) singing James Browns Its a mans mans world at Montreux jazz festival.
