I'm not sure if there's anybody currently on the music scene that sounds quite like him. He's a perfect blend of songwriting, arrangement, with a great soulful voice. I can listen to Ray LaMontagne all day. Whatever genre you think he belongs to, he owns it.

Whenever the camera pans over to the bass player, you can see the level of soul in that room. He just starts grooving and doesn’t even have to look over at Ray after a while. Such a good set

Had a chance to see Ray on the Just Passing Through tour in Detroit, and I gotta say... incredible. I love hearing the bass on these tunes, but hearing it with just guitar was super intimate. The tickets were a fortune, but I'd see him again in a heartbeat. My wife and I REALLY enjoyed the performance.

I thought I liked Ray when I won tickets to his Kansas City, Mo concert last month..he was so incredible, the show was magical, I’ve been obsessed since. I’d have gone to the show the next night if I could have! By far, my absolute most favorite concert I’ve seen in KC! I’ve seen a lot of good shows but none left me feeling like Ray. Thank you so much, you kind and wonderful man, for adding joy to the lives of us who cherish you and your work ❤️ Your son Tobias is as talented and creative, but within his own work, and he will have my support always!
