Dickie and Raylan scenes are always some of the best. I'd put it up there as a close runner-up to Boyd and Raylan interacting.

It’s what sets great shows apart. If Yellowstone had Justified’s writers, it would be watchable.

It's little details like Dickie saying "fingers and toes." So many shows are perfunctory in scenes like this. Here you have an unbroken 40 second shot that does a 180 around the car with dialogue that feels individual to the characters. And 90 seconds later when Dickie is stammering about how "he pretty much put himself in there of his own doing" he's actually telling the truth! We saw it unfold like that - Dickie was polite and didn't even have to yell or point the gun. There's just such rich visual storytelling that complements the dialogue. I'm finding that level of craft missing from a lot of shows on TV/Netflix these days.

BB is an incredible show. But a very different show. Justified is also incredible, just in a different way. And, to be honest, I think BCS is better than BB...and I would watch Justified over either of them.
