Man the style shifts are too good, from new horizons to him looking detailed when falling through time and then ending up in the PG model style It is a superbly beautiful little animation

The funny thing is, I thought that too (that he appeared to be from Population Growing), but then at the end, the credits said that assets were used from only New Horizons and City Folk, and Dr Shrunk can't've existed on the GameCube or Nintendo 64, because he debuted in Wild World and then continued to appear in every game after that.

I'll be honest: the bait-and-switch premise was a pleasant surprise! I think you did a great job animating this what-if scenario in which Raymond travelled back in time to appear in the original Animal Crossing on the Nintendo 64. =D
