Razer Basilisk V3 Pro vs Razer Viper V2 Pro mouse comparison

In this video I'm comparing two of my favourite recent Razer mice, the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro and the Razer Viper V2 Pro. These are two quite different mice, but with similar specs under the hood. For example they both have a 30K optical sensor, gen 3 optical switches, 750 IPS max speed and 70G max acceleration. But they're also vastly different in terms of design and features. The Viper 2 Pro seems lacking on paper - with less buttons, no bluetooth, no wireless charging and no RGB (compared to the Basilisk V3 Pro) but it's lightweight and obviously very capable for gaming.

i currently use the basilisk v2 for shooters n its very fast and accurate im jus worried about upgrading to the v3 pro extra weight does it feel like it weighs down or is it fine? funny thing is when i brought the v2 there was newer models but that 1 weighed the least but with same amount of buttons so went with it

Exactly. V3 fits like a pro. Only mouse I'd use is a naga for hot keying. Keyboards on the other hand... its been a long hard row. But I guess I will go with the Black Widow v4 pro for now. Hoping Claymorw 3 drops and is incredible.

Did you feel the upgrade was worth it? My dongle died on my v2 pro and im getting a refund, and im wondering if its worth it to add a few dollars to get the basilisk.

Razer viper v2 pro I've gotten twice right after the dongle was dead on arrival on the first one. Then the second one worked for about 3 minutes and died on its own. I returned both and settled with G Pro X Superlight.
