Nice video man! Just ordered this mouse as an upgrade for my 3 or 4 year old hand-me-down wired deathadder. I’ve tried a couple Logitech mice but I’m so used to this shape that I can barely use anything else effectively, haha!

Just picked one up today, no weird noise with my scroll wheel. 19.5cm x 10.5 cm hands for reference. Might become my favorite mouse against all that I have tried (Viper Ultimate (used the most so far), MM720, Mionix NAOS 7000, G Pro Wireless, Mamba, Model O Wireless, Viper Mini, Naga Pro, Deathadder V2 mini, Deathadder V2 wired (didn’t give this a real chance I guess, figured I didn’t like it after a couple minutes and returned it ASAP)).

I sort of changed my mind after i bought the 120 kain roccat..my hands feels sweaty and i feel my pinky finger is sort of in the way cuz i find any sweet spot to put in on this mouse..so what do you think compared to the roccat mouse ? I thinki want the death adder vs 2 with wire

Hi there. Great review on this! I’m wondering whether the middle mouse button is fairly easy to click? I mainly use the middle mouse button for in game on Fortnite when building. I have the G Pro Wireless so that one is fairly hard lol.

I find it easy to click. I also tie it to an in game action and its given me no issues.

I think Razer Should make a Black Widow Mini Wireless. It's like a Huntsman Mini, but without the optical switches. According to Razer, the Optical Switches make it difficult for wireless capabilities, due to the amount of power it uses.

Great video, with lots of valid and helpful hints. For the Deathadder....guess what :D These are the one, and only (!) mice, i use/d on my main/gaming pc since 2009: 2009 Deathadder 3500 (was unfortunately killed by a defect motherboard). 2014 Deathadder World of Tanks (still working fine). With my big hand/long fingers, using palmgrip/sometimes claw since ever (that's early 90ies in my case), and my right hand's muscle memory perfected on the Deathadder's shape - an obvious choice for me. With wireless now really on par with cable, i finally make the jump on a so much more convenient wireless mouse. At least for my personal main/gaming pc, on my work pc's i use wireless mice since years already. With so many generational/technological/performance leaps recently (ryzen5k, radeon 6k, nv 30 series, keyboards), a general update on all makes real sense, and for the input side of things i ordered a V2Pro + Charging dock + a Corsair K100 this week. Which equals to a sum of 440€/520USD over here in Europe (higher prices in general, higher taxes - the usual thing....) ;-) But considering the longevity (those optical switches even surpass any high quality mech. switch by far), build quality, lots of features, and the troublefree enjoyment you get from using top notch gear for years - price is really the least concern of all. Same for all else, e.g. taking the outright best PSU's (that have 10 years warranty, so pay once and be safe&happy for a long time, and several upgrade cycles), but that's another story. My answer for "next wireless Razer mouse", as i can't nor want to use any of those other button overloaded or smaller mice, is obvious: in some years time - a Deathadder V3Pro... ;-)

I've been using a G Pro wireless and while I quite like the mouse I've been wanting to go back to an ergo shape. I have big hands and I've had 2 Deathadders in the past and after owning a couple of other ergo mice (G403, Model D, Skoll) this new release from Razer was basically the perfect excuse to meet back with an old friend. I bought one of these 3 days ago. It should be delivered by tuesday.

@@CalebThornton it's a good mouse in my opinion. It feels good in the hand, the shape seems like a mix between a DA and a G403/603/703. It's lightweight if you're into that. My copy came with no side flex or any issue with the buttons, but I've heard some reports from people that had some QC problems with their mice. I replaced the stock cable with a paracord and the mouse feels great on a bungie.

Nice video! Currently using the Black Mamba Tournament. Big fan of this ergonomic shape. What about the specs between this one, the viper ultimate wireless (kind of similar for what you said) and the logitech g pro? Im looking for the best mice for competitive gaming. I have not personally used the G pro wireless so cant comment on that really. As far as difference between the viper and DAv2Pro in technology like I mentioned in the video the only real difference is those new gen 2 optical switches. The new Viper's though which were released when they did mercury collection also feature the gen 2 switches. If you prefer Ergo shape though the Deathadder will be better suited for you I would say since the Viper is an ambi shape.

I have a viper ultimate, I use claw and sometimes fingertip grip. The viper never really felt right, and is uncomfortable. I just got the wireless Deathadder today and I think the viper is getting returned. It's really nice to claw grip with.

The coating on my first gen Death Adder has peeled on the right button. After years and years of use, I guess I got my money's worth. (I do use the right button for forward movement in FPS's).

I used my Deathadder Elite For a couple Years, mine never gave me any issues. I was impressed with how well it held up. Sounds like it might be time for an upgrade for you. At least you got a lot of use out of it.

The cable is not horrible by any means it’s just not as nice as a high quality paracord cable. It does not take long at all to charge, I have not timed it but even ten minutes of charge will probably give you roughly an hour of play time.

Razer's Hyperspeed wireless connection technology has been flawless for me so far. It is amazing how responsive and reliable it is. I cant tell the difference between it and a wireless mouse in terms of performance or input lag.

@@lo-fi404 No Problem! I have it about 2 feet away honestly you would probably be good even up to way farther than that. I showed it briefly in the video but they give you an adapter to use in conjunction with the dongle and speedflex cable so you can move it around where you want to with that 6ft cable.

For me personally I would choose the Deathadder but that's because I just love the shape so much. The pricing is a huge difference though with the Deathadder being almost $100 more expensive though, so that is the big kicker. I mean for that extra price you are getting a lot of advancements though which is nice.

You might like the Mamba more though if you prefer claw grip and have smaller hands. I will have a review on the viper mini here soon to which you might like.

Don’t be ridiculous no need to be sorry. You’ve given me a good idea of what the difference between the two is. I saw both this and your review on the mamba, which were very helpful, and put some of the pieces together like the grips on the mamba perhaps being worse than the deathadder. Plus the mamba was wireless and the deathadder wasn’t at the time so it’s not like you can see the future. Either way great work and I’ll definitely keep an eye out for that viper mini video.

If you found this video in search for a new mouse for MC, then this mouse is NOT for you! It can't double click and so every other guy on the server will kill you easily. And if I remember it correctly it doesn't go over 10 cps. Good video though.
