that depends on you, if you're looking for precision then get control, if you wanna go fast get speed. the speed edition is more "slippery"

After buying both control and speed editions I can tell you the control glides much smoother and I prefer that.

@ctcraam Yeah I know the Actrosa is the Lycosa without lights. I just wasn't sure if I just couldn't see the lights or if he didn't have them. I was considering getting the Actrosa but I really wanted the lights for several reasons so I ended up going for it.

I got the control edition and i have to say it is one of the best mousepads I have ever worked with.

@utubeb14 Control is way more slippery as it has less friction, speed has more friction so basically Low sens : Control, more slippery, easier to move the mouse on the pad High sense : Speed, stickier, has more force to the mouse when moving the mouse on the pad causing you to have more control over the mouse when using high sens I actually have both of these pads and imo the should change the names as they're very confusing

@ByVxIJa depending on what you play and what you prefer. if u want a smooth glide, then speed is good. if you want a rougher glide then go for the control. i prefer speed if u ask me.

@Effex95 the Goliathus series is completely different then those walmart mouse pads. The quality is much greater and your precision is much better. These gaming mouse pads have those little divets for your mouse's laser to read the surface greater due to the surface area being available. the walmart mouse pads are just a piece of cloth.

They're both good, speed just glides faster, control has texture. I've tried both extended version and prefer control and I mostly play FPS.

@LostRituals there are several people that use the fingertip grip style. I have the alpha version of this pad and the only difference of the mousepads that karl mentioned is the size. They are all smooth, comfortable, and easily one of the best mouse pads i have ever owned. I dont use the fingertip but i do rest my wrist upon the mousepad and i have no problems with it at all. hope i helped you :)

they make the one mousemat so large (not yours, the biggest size) so u can put your keyboard on top of it and have space at the side for your mouse

Hey, i did find this mousepad WITHOUT that huge green splash on amazon, but rather a smaller one on one corner. And does your mouse cursor jump while gliding on the pad, because of the material on the pad? I've seen some reviews, so just asking :D

@olivierhacking Speed Version is more Smoother in a sense more slippery but the control version is slightly rough due its Square Precise texture and gives more control, it is best for Low Sensitivity Gamers.

@ZSNES1994 The control edition is still good if you have a good mouse that can higher and lower its DPI. :) For an example if you have a razer product (I have Razer Naga) you don't need the speed edition. =) I hope this helped.

I use the kabuto (which is meant for a laptop) for my desktop. Yeah its small but with the dpi of my razer naga, why would I need a large pad?

The only way I could see it moving is if the surface you have it on is incredibly slippery. Other than that, it shouldn't move.

I've had this mouse pad for a long time and if you use a low sensitivity you will hate it, it literally hurts my palm when I play fps games and have to swipe my hand across it all day. Very very rough texture.

I have this mouse pad with razer deathadder respawn. It just glides, not easy to "control" your mouse. I think they renamed the wrong. And i get pain under my hands, no comfort, not recommended for long time gamers

No ... they are not false ... they are my experience ... btw. now i have a sharkoon pad and i am very satisfied with it, "1337"something, try it, it's the best pad i ever had (i bought 3). I was so angry with the Razer pad because it was quite expensive and i just couldn't play with it.
