The Ornata all the way! It's a joy to type into... you have that nice click and feel of the mechanical keyboards, but it's still quiet enough. And the wrist rest just feels premium and comfy. RGB, 100% programmable... the Ornata is a solid product and for the price tag, it's a no-brainer!

I bought the Blackwidow Chroma some weeks ago. Guys, if you never had a mechanical Keyboard and you are worrying about the noise it makes .... grab the Stealth Edition of the Blackwidow Chroma. Well, like Brainbean said, that's just my opinion. Choose the Normal one if you know about the noise and the keys. But, don't do it like me. The Chroma is my first mechanical Keyboard and the green Switches are way to loud for me ;) I would like to see a Headset for like ... $60+ that is wireless. Nothing like $100+. I mean a budget wireless headset/headphones (Budget... can i say that like this?). Nice Review by the way. Keep it up and never give up ;)

Just wondering, why do you need a wireless headset? Wireless gaming peripherals are usually not that great since the response rate will be slower and they aren't always reliable. I got a razer mamba some years ago and gave up using the wireless mode after it would randomly disconnect while I played.

Let's be honest here. I love my ornata. It's wonderful to type on, the tactile feedback is on point and it's clicking sound is second to none (ymmv). But if you want a keyboard for gaming, get yourself a mechanical one. It's not even a contest.

Mrrr. LOL the keys in the Ornata are easy to remove and replace. It doesn't damage them I have removed them many times over the course of filming my 3 videos with this keyboard.

I personally use the ornata chroma because I type and do a lot of research so I prefer the membrane switch for typing. But I already used a mechanical keyboard and I don't feel like there's a huge difference while playing. I really think that the main differences are things that we don't really pay attention for while playing like the response time or the life duration of the keys.

Now that I own a BWX, I have to say it's the best in aesthetics. The lighting is A LOT brighter in real life than images/videos had me think; I would think that the brightness of BWC would be too much/overkill. The LED really nicely reflects off the sides of the glossy keycaps and the matte metal board. The BWX just looks sleek as fuck, I'm glad I chose it over the BWC. However, BWC definitely wins in functionality since BWX has no extra macro keys, audio jacks and a USB pass through.

Draphcone The lighting of the BWX is why I chose a different keyboard, tbh. Even people who bought the BWX said they wish it had the white back plate like the BWC and I wasn't sure. Although it's nice to hear that some people think otherwise. And yeah, idk why they removed the macros and the audio passthroughs. It seems like they chose looks over everything there. But it does look nice, at least.

I went to a store tested them all and came to realise the ornata had the better feel anddesign so I got that! the wrist rest is a nice adition too. I dont know about the "quallity" of those mecha-membrane switches, but they are great in the hand for typing and gaming!

Thanks for the sub and support! I think it depends on person to person. Not everyone can afford to replace a keyboard just because a new model comes out every year. Before I got into doing this I would change out every couple of years or so, Never had one break on me but my wife did spill water all over one back before spill resistant keyboards were a thing.

i honestly really wanna see a bw chroma refresh, taking the improvements from the bwx such as keycaps full metal construction and indicator leds, combined with the macro keys (6 instead of 5 though), white backplate, and add media keys to compete with corsair, as well as relocating the usb and audio passthroughs to the back of the keyboard rather than the side, making the keyboard use usb 3.0 like the corsair keyboards so that the passthrough won't have any input lag when plugged into usb 3.0 (which you really should have if you're considering a high end keyboard anyway), and possibly removing the audio passthroughs altogether since most headsets are usb anyway nowadays

As strange as that decision may seem, I actually found the Ornata to be better for me because I found the combination of the slight cushion from the rubber domes along with the tactile click from the mecha-membrane mechanism made it more enjoyable for me to type on. I also prefer low profile keycaps. While it definitely doesn't feel as premium as a real mechanical keyboard, I haven't regretted my decision since I honestly do more typing than gaming.

Hey thanks for the sub! I do play but I would say more that I dabble. My main instrument is drums but I like to record and it's nice to be able to do a rough scratch track or play around with some riffs during recording.

My mom types data entry of court records every day at work, constantly typing. She's never had a "nice" keyboard, she normally just buys a cheep logitech until every key is worn off and the keys start to fail. I bought her an ornada about 6 months ago and she absolutely loves it. The keys are starting to wear off, but none of them have failed. She loves the feel of the keys and the satisfaction of each click. If you type for a living at an 8-5 job, the ornada will most definitely survive. She also really likes the membrane feel, because it cushions her fingertips on each keystroke. Even if I need to buy her another keyboard after a year, I think this keyboard is a really nice investment.

Got my Razer Tartarus v2 chroma keypad via Amazon last week. Then decided to complement it with the Razer Mamba chroma tournament edition and the Razer chroma ornata keyboard. Haven't looked back since or had any regrets.

I got blackwidow v2 and i love it.. it has that nicer font like ornata also the caps/num etc lights are also updated so they look really nice (pretty much like on ornata) and also u have that big comfty wrist rest 👌🏼 i got mine for 130e 2months and so far no complains..

I modified my blackwidow X to have the blackwidows old font and it shines a lot more and looks lovely
