@@vt_xcezza Thank you! A Top 5 video has been on my mind the last couple weeks! I’ve got 2 or 3 gamepads waiting to be reviewed, so gotta get through those first, but planning to do one before the end of the year!

Great video! Have you noticed any bad input delay on the sticks? I'm considering buying it but in vcuda's review of the pro version he said there was significantly more input delay on the sticks than switches, but I haven't seen any testing data nor have I heard about it on controller before. Thank you!
@OldManRob1312 сағат бұрын
@@noneofyourbusiness4661 the only data I’ve seen on stick latency is on GamepadLA, but Vcuda uploaded those results, so it’s the same numbers he gave in his video. That said, I maintain that I don’t think the Wolverine V3 feels great in terms of responsiveness/accuracy. If you’re on Xbox it’s not a bad choice, because options are so very limited, but if you’re on PC there are better gamepads at or below this price point.

the stick resolution is surprisingly low but the actual input lag accoring to Gamepadla is very good , and having less than 100 points on the sticks will still be bellow the recommended minimum of 125 points. this is vry revealing and it's a flaw and shouldn't exist in my opinion , how did they allow such a very low resolution ?!!
@OldManRob1322 күн бұрын
@@MonderMatrix yeah, I was very surprised, it explains why it feels so bad. I really don’t understand how/why the Pro and TE versions have different resolutions, either. It’s pretty disappointing.

Should I buy the TE or the Pro edition for PC?
@OldManRob13Күн бұрын
@@cz3ky Neither if you’re on PC - there are just way better options for less money. If I had to pick one it would be the Pro. The thumbsticks perform better on the Pro, and in a recent update they apparently removed the ability to even adjust the deadzone on the TE (according to Reddit, I haven’t tested it yet), but the only reason I would pick up either version of the Wolverine V3 is for Xbox, due to the limited options for console. On PC you’d be way better off with the Vader 4 Pro or Blitz 2, just to name a couple of my favorites.

So what...In other words the v3 isn't without drift or what? Because i was going to buy it but now i'm not so sure anymore.

I have the TE I'm now thinking of exchanging for the pro. If I'm going to pony up the extra $ I was wondering if you prefer scuff envision pro or the razer v3 pro? I'm fine with just PC for the scuff & the razers lvl of customization. My main concern is with the 6 extra in game buttons, which layout do you prefer. Also any idea what the resolution of the scuff thumb sticks are? And will kontrolfreeks work on the scuff? Also which d-pad do you prefer? Thanks.
@OldManRob1317 күн бұрын
@@s1aver1 I would have to say I prefer the layout of the Razer as far as the extra buttons go, but I have heard many people say that they love the layout of the envision pro once they got used to it, so it might possibly be that I haven’t put enough hours into it to get used to the two side buttons. I’ve always thought those extra buttons on the envision were a cool idea, and am still a little surprised nobody else has copied that design. That said, if I were spending $200 on a controller, it would be hard for me to talk myself into the Envision, if for no other reason than that it has potentiometer thumbsticks. And as much as I’ve criticized the lack of customization available in the Razer app…Scuf’s iCue software is MUCH worse, despite having more features. It hardly works at all, and sometimes when it doesn’t work, the controller won’t even connect. I’ve had the app lose connection with the envision pro during games, both wired and wireless…maybe I got a lemon with my unit, but I’ve had enough issues that I stopped using it entirely pretty quickly.
@s1aver110 күн бұрын
@@OldManRob13 So I picked up a Razer V3 pro & a Scuf Envision pro. Though the V3 pro is better than the V3 TE, I ended up keeping the Scuf. I agree the extra button layout on the Razer is a bit better(the paddle that is a membrane button on the Scuf requires too much force) but I just don't like the thumbsticks I'm not sure if it's the tension or if I just don't like the feel of hall effect sticks but I shoot better on both the Scuf & MS elite 2. Also the Envsions sticks resolution is 1200 pts incase anyone was wondering but it's more the feel than resolution as to why I preferred them. Also the controller feels much more premium, has a better D-Pad/face buttons(regular mechanical not a membrane mechanical hybrid). Hopefully I don't end up having the issues with it you did. In icue if you set the controller to device memory mode you only need to use icue to set/save profiles to the device memory otherwise you can close it so it's not running in the background. May help.
@OldManRob1310 күн бұрын
@ yeah, the local profiles work and avoid that issue, but you can’t set keyboard inputs on local profiles, unfortunately.

I just bought this controller and am thinking abour returning it after using it for a day They recently removed the ability to calibrate the joysticks on the te in the most recent firmware. I wasn't a fan of the higher stick tension. Maybe I should give it more time?
