Honestly feels like hair texture plays a huge role in length. You can do every thing you can but some textures just break easily.
@carsade4 жыл бұрын
thats right not just texture but general health or state of ones hair..i have very thin hair in the front and crown areas of my head...hence hair breaks very easily in those parts...the back of my hair is stronger and slighlty healthier so hair density and lenght appears more even and can manage a bit more manipulation but i mainly manipulate the front cause thats what i see and focus on and sadly the front suffers lol

I’ve seen 4c girls grow long hair like hers. That’s why you must have products that strengthen the hair and encourage growth. Moisture is key. I use hello hydration shampoo to keep moisture. Castor oil or wild growth and a good leave in conditioner. I also use Fenugreek products. KCurlsys.com has some good oils, deep conditioners. Also keep hair stretched to prevent curling on itself and tangling. Use search and destroy method for trims. Don’t trim too often.

I see girls with this texture grow long hair without doing too much. Its just that grade type. My hair is considered "good" hair and no matter what i do, it wont grow past my boobs. I feelbits all in the type!
@seshib72324 жыл бұрын
May I halik you? Right, i keep seeing girls say this & the problem is they don’t find their own way. You aren’t going to use the same products as the next to retain or grow hair. Everyone who asks abt my hair & how I grew it, I tell one simple thing PATIENCE!

Seriously tho. I wear my hair like this 98% of the time.. waist length was my goal but we past that now 😊 I’m trying to get my girl to my booty! Less is definitely more and a consistent routine is the only thing you need.

Wow sis! May i ask if you have 4c hair? My problem is moisture, i try to keep it in a style but the moisture just wont stay in.
@makenziewilliams27274 жыл бұрын
Malita Missi although I’m not totally sure I would said my hair is 3c/4a. I struggle with moisture too. I learned that some people can go 5-7 days and not need to heavily re-moisturize and some can’t. I can’t. I get 2-3 days then I have to heavily moisturize or re-do wash day. This style shown in the video I re-do every 2-3 days and I try to use thick butters and creams for lasting moisture. Good luck in your journey!

We spent hundreds of years not knowing how to care for our hair because of lost knowledge. Its going to take time and lots of effort to get that back. You can't be lazy about it. Good hair is healthy hair not a texture. Actually your texture can change due to more or less moisture and length. Knowledge is powerful. Be patient ladies.....💞

I wash my hair weekly and I braid my hair into 10 be g juicy braids but I then tuck. By Thursday I remoisturize each braid and I unbraid section to do so and massage. Then I brush and comb each section. I then rebraid until Sunday wash day again 🤗! My scalp and hair loves it! The growth is amazing. I also do not use a bunch of products. My hair is easy to brush and comb cuz I stay ontop of my trims. Since I started tucking my ends, o my ends r thick and less trimming! U have to know ur hair! If nothing it's 2 matted up after 2wks of braiding then u should know that ur hair wants u to touch or brush or comb it more often! Know ur hair sis! In order to know ur hair u must have patience and spend some time not money on these products ppl selling, period! God bless everyone 🙏🤗❤️!

No baby. Find your porosity, density, if your strands are fine, medium, or coarse, and then your hair curl type. Then watch videos of people with similar hair. Make notes of products do some research on the products as well. You have to experiment to find the result babe.

Now that it’s fall, when I had short hair, I twisted it into medium twists and kept a bonnet on. If I had a Xmas party, I wore a twist out then washed the next day to put back into twists. But if I leave the house, I have to knitted hats with a satin inside (it’s like a silk scarf on the inside but a normal knit 🧶 hat on the outside: so cute and perfect for winter and fall. Also good if you are feeling lazy and just want Felicia braids but don’t want to walk outside like that 🤷🏾♀️

@Nina-fh1bg4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, my mother's hair is like this. Plus her strands are fine in places - easy to break off. It is maybe 4A/4B around the sides, 4C at the crown and 3C in the back. That is why she had so much breakage when she used to use relaxers because to straighten the 4C hair she left it in too long and burned out the rest of the hair. Her hair was only an inch long in some places. She stopped relaxing but refuses to "big chop" so I just taught her the leave-in/cream/oil method and a few protective styles. Her hair is growing back slowly.

@@Afrolatinalexi You just have to use products for 4b type hair since that's the most challenging out of all the textures you mentioned. That makes everything easier, because if you can master the 4b hair, the 4a and 3c will be fine.
