So these fancy radios don't even have the Bluetooth capability of the tqi radios??? Also I have the losi supermoto(spektrum), 2 proboats by horizon hobby(spektrum) and a stock traxxas xrt and axial scx10 crawler. Would spektrum controller would be best on a $150 or so budget?

Thank god bought yesterday the FS G7P to change from my really I LIKE THE DESIGN FS GT3B but it needs a lot of batteries and had a little notable latency and just 3 channels, just right but need more adjustment and facilities for my now OBSESSION Formula 1 1/8 and 1/7 Nitro Rc Cars, so with telemetry, low tolerance latency and a lot of ajdustment will improve my investment. Thanks to share the FS G7P

Nice! I actually still use a bunch of rtf radios so that I can go out and bash with the kids. I hook up about 5 cars to two different radios. Futaba 3PV because of the wireless receiver and the Spektrum DX5C because of all the Arrma and Losi cars. The Futaba is noticeable more responsive. That said the DX5C is way better than the rtr radios, lol. Love all your radio content 🤩

I had a FlySky GT3b: which was a fantastic value for bashing! I didn't know what people were talking about when they mentioned the speed or 'feel' of a system, as it was all I knew. Then once I started getting into track days with a 2wd buggy I splurged for a M12. And had to adjust how I drove as I was suddenly clipping the inside of every corner :) . Sanwa makes a great radio!

Just subscribed to your channel. I kinda assume you're a buggy kinda guy. I have a question. I live in San Jose, CA and it is very challenging to find a good spot for bashing. Do you happen to know a large parking lot or stretched street where I can do high-speed run like 80+ mph, maybe 100+ mph with XO-1? Thanks! *I am new to this hobby.
@crazicat
@crazicat 2 жыл бұрын
I fly quads in Florida but the same problem with a place to do RC. Have found that no one wants to share a good spot with anyone else, esp a newbee. Because too many people or a newbee causing damage will get that spot shut down for everyone. Best to get into a small group of fellow RC people. Check face book and local races, you don't need to race, just make a few friends. Everything is more fun with friends.

Fkysky gt3b or gt3c are pretty old and perform very bad imho. They have abysmal frame rate which results in a disconnected feeling to your car. I would only recommend them for trail trucks or crawlers only where a low frame rate is not really needed.

I personally never bought a brand-new transmitter. I always buy used. Just bought a spektrum dx4s and it works awesome. And all dsm2/dsmr receivers are compatible which I also buy used for a fraction of its new price. Hence the recommendation. Just watch for units in good condition!
