What are you doing these days? I've always LOVED the look of Apaches. When I was younger, we had a 30' Superboat. It's a business in Lindenhurst, Long Island. I LOVED that boat! But u could only dream of a huge Apache!

The swell in the shallow Miami ocean & the resulting jumps, the cocaine crazed pilots driving this beast without vests or helmets, the noise of those motors at full throttle pinned on redline through the heads is just awesome, every part is just awesome. For me, '41 Apache's were the best deep-v offshore racers ever. This is a great video that really captures how the '41 was a wave crushing, solid tracking monster. GREAT engine sound captured here too. The air she catches around 7:00 and for the next several seconds is unreal.

Poetry in motion. I've always loved listening to throttlemen working both their magic and talent. Hearing the engines sing in this video, coming off the throttles and back on as the boat flies over waves on their way to crashing into shore is simply amazing to me. I’ve always been a huge fan of the Apache I had a 22 Apache it was a blast I think the helicopter pilot could’ve done a little bit more to help the cameraman out though he kind of seemed all over the place I watched a lot of Apache race in the 80s and 90s and OPT and APBA the INXS 47 Apache with triples was awesome The drives had names, Moe, Larry, and Curly.
