A movie-documentary based on the career of Floyd Mayweather, focusing on his come-up to stardom. The documentary highlights Mayweather's story and details the specific struggles that Mayweather had to overcome to eventually become a household name.
"The Rise of Floyd Mayweather TBE" covers his life and career as he grew from 'Pretty Boy Floyd' to 'Money Mayweather'. It highlights the most important fights he had (up to 2009), including matches such as:
- Boxing at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, fighting Sefarim Todorov
- Fighting Genaro Hernandez and winning his first world title
- Fighting Diego Corrales and searching for big-name fights (against guys like Prince Naseem, Joel Casamayor, Paul Spadafora etc)
- The controversial matches against Jose Luis Castillo in 2002
- His first PPV appearance against Arturo Gatti
- Earning stardom with Oscar De La Hoya
The film also includes his fall-out dispute with Top Rank and why he had to adopt the controversial persona (Money Mayweather) that aggravated many fans.
No other video highlights the rise of Mayweather with such detail, and it is a must-see for fight fans, Floyd fans, and boxing historians.
Please leave a like and share to support the video. I put in a lot of work and hundreds of hours to create a special gift that will entertain and inspire you during this hectic time in 2020.

I remember Lampley's days as newscaster down in So. CA - His biases were as obvious back then as they would be [later] in boxer [or should I say toward boxers]. I use to call Jim & Larry the 'Never_Floyd_Fans'. They were head_over_heels in love with Oscar, when Floyd took their idol away from them, they jumped straight onto the 'Manny_Wagon' --- Very Insightful, Proud Father.

Roy Jones Jr (a top10 of all time in my eyes) and Hall of Famer George Foreman, always spoke very highly of Floyd, Foreman predicted him to be the best, and Roy always said after he lost top spot Floyd was #1 P4P. Floyd's punching power is off the charts, but he had to change his style due to how bad his hands were. That's why a lot of his fights went the distance. He picked you apart instead of using the power he had in his early years. One of the best fighters off all time, if not the best...

SOURCE: Washington Post In tests administered to Mayweather by the NSAC for fights in 2011 and 2013, he posted unusually low testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratios, either of which, as another expert described to Hauser, should have served as “a warning flag” for doping. Lps Layla , well it just goes to show that u still know absolutely nothing about boxing, he rarely took it out of first gear don't make me laugh! He got beat by Castillo first time around I don't care what a boxing judge says, and I had de la Hoya in front by a couple of points aswell, he got dropped by Judah and was wobbled multiple times, that's not never taking it out of first gear.

1:06 exactly the example why Floyd is humble and the talk is just to sell fights. This single principle, knowing your role and playing your position while working hard and earning it... this is a lost principle and one of the reasons Floyd is the GOAT. In all the hype, haters overlook the WORK and the respect.

@Reezy_Bad Floyd gave De La Hoya "the Beats"? Lol!!! When did that happen? I can't recall that actually.....I mean Floyd fought a washed up version of De La Hoya but yet didn't look too mpressive against Oscar either lol!!! Not only did Oscar give him a fight, but also Oscar got cheated out by not getting all points from what he landed on Floyd in general! Hell.....even Floyd's father said that Oscar really won that fight! Yeah......Floyd really gave him "the Beats" huh? 😂😂🤣

@Daniel Vazquez firing him or not....doesn't matter! At least his dad knew what was up and knew what was real. Hell....he even yelled at him in his corner during the Pacquiao fight telling him to stop fighting scared.. lmao!!! And I did see the whole fight "bonehead".. lol!!!! Oscar didn't even look pathetic at all really..... and keep in mind that this is a washed up version of Oscar that we are talking about. And I did not see Mayweather even owning that fight at all.... it was pretty much constantly back and forth really. And nah homie it was the other way around.....was a gift for Mayweather to fight Oscar in general! Oscar has been around longer and a legend before Floyd anyday! So to beat Oscar was what put him in the map! And a washed up Oscar may I add also lol!!!! And that's the truth! So truth is truth that... lmao!!!
