Super interesting stuff and content you don’t see everyday! Thank you for documenting the behind the scenes. Lawrence and the guys at Intec are great. I hope they’re available to take care of you

Glad to hear you enjoy seeing this type of stuff at the machine shop Kenny. I spoke with Intec Racing and they have me on the schedule for short block assembly 2 months from now. I have spoken with several different people from Intec over the last year and I am very impressed with their knowledge and friendly customer service. It will be so nice to deal with a tuning shop carries themselves with professionalism compared to what I have been dealing with in the past.

Thanks for showing this stuff Josh. I've wondered what kind of rig they use for polishing crank journals. Now I know. I'm glad there are a few guys around (not many) who are good at this kind of machine work. Usually there's no do-over if you mess up some expensive part.

Gary, it was such an awesome experience with John at the machine shop see all the different machine processes. I spent over ten hours with John make the 2 videos in his shop picking his brain learning and really enjoyed everything he patiently taught me about engines. I have a good feeling with the high level of detail he puts into his work that my bearings will last a long time. Thanks for watching Gary.

Awesome content man. I just had this exact same process done on my Nitto 2.8. I’m actually final fitting my Leask Spec oil pan on tonight and trying to get the engine installed in my 33 this weekend! Keep it up! It will be finished before you know it! Sick build so far!

Thanks Brian, that's awesome to hear your building your GTR as well. Its an expensive and stressful process to say the least. Glad find my videos interesting, I do my best I can to provide as much info for the GTR community I can. The Leask oil sump extension is a nice kit. I will be doing something similar, I am installing the Supertec Racing sump extension on mine. I have had this in my garage for 6 months and have not even had the time to open it and share this with my channel. supertecracing.com/products/rb26-sump-capacity-up-kit-awd Thanks for watching, more to come. Best of luck to your and your R33 build.

Bro I really can’t wait to see it running again, btw did you consider changing the transmission to a DCT like 8hp ?
@JDMRightHandDrive10 ай бұрын
You and me both, I am going to work my butt off to get this thing back together. As far as the DCT trans, I have seen that conversion done and it is something I am interested maybe later on once my stock trans fails. Doing a new transmission is not in my budget right now. I still have to sell my HKS twins and pay for the rest of my single turbo upgrade, plus the cost if Intec's labor for assembly, miscellaneous and tuning they will do. I want to get my GTR back together by this summer. That's my goal. Thanks for your support and for watching.

machine itself should be balanced and I couldn't image any way possible? How do you balance the machine itself?
