RB30 R32 blows up while ECU TUNING!

I built my Nissan Skyline R32 for Formula Drift Japan and it needed more ECU tuning for the new ethanol race fuel and then it almost blew up from overheating! From blowing power steering racks and pumps, water pump issues, tuning for race gas instead of ethanol, and mechanics making mistakes, this has been a mission to get this car ready to compete in FD.

For sure all the setbacks are killing your motivation. But you are in japan and that's more than can be said for a lot of us. Seems like you need someone who understands the equipment (PDM etc) you are trying to use on site to help go through front to back. Once everything is squared away and correct it will be easy for your tuner of choice to dial in and get the thing dials. At the end of the day you have all the right bits on the car, just gotta get them assembled and talking together and you will be onto a winner. Best of luck, loving the content, reminds me why I am not rushing the shitbox in my shed on jack stands for 5 years >_

be patient my friend, bad shyt happens and you can plan every mistake, go with the flow and stay posetive. took me 2 years to iron out kinks with my wiring harness and pdm, but then again i was on a stricter budget. dont lose faith bro, you dont lack skills, just reliability, and that comes hand in hand with a racecar

Try using a translator app for your phone bud... You can set the input and output language.. and it will translate your words to Japanese.... and then translate their words to english... They are not perfect... but good enough to get you by...
