Steven, only Christian, Dulce and Anahi were singers before the band, so they sing the most of the songs because of it. Christopher, Maite and Poncho were only actors and then became singers. But now Maite and Christopher improved soooo much!! You should listen to their new single "Siempre he estado aqui" to hear how they're sounding nowadays. Poncho gave up the singer career and focused only on the actor's career, and he is great at it!!

Christopher actually sung in some child novelas he did. He actually wrote the song for the novela Aventuras en el Tiempo that he did with Belinda, then they sung it together. Poncho , although not a known singer, did sing when he was a part of the novela Clase 406. I believe they did small performances and had a CD for the songs they did during that novela.

Thanks for this reaction! Again, the kissing parts is because of their characters on "Rebelde" the TV show that originated the band, so you will see a lot of that at least in their first 3 albums and tours. This album is called "Celestial" like this song. I'm glad you liked it, personally this is not my fave album or song from RBD but the album as a whole is good (I liked better Nuestro Amor and Empezar desde cero). Maite and Christopher are the ones who have less solo parts but one interesting thing about the album "Empezar desde Cero" is that included solo songs from each member (normally Dulce Maria and Anahi are the ones who had a solo song in every album). So your take on all that would be interesting!

Maite Perroni (Mayteh) is my favorite. At the beginning she was portrayed as shy because of the TV series, but they began giving her more parts later on, depends on the song like with the boys too, that's why this group was so popular, because they were all special and they each had their personalities and their place on the group. Hey Steven!! So, about Maite perroni. You should probably check the "Empezar desde cero music video," if you would like to see Maite leading a song. Empezar desde cero is also the name of the RBD's album you got (hahaha, i follow you on twitter/ig). - The couples kiss because they were couples in the soup opera and they used to kiss a lot, they brought it out on the tours and videos because the fans used to love it so much. Now is kind of annoying, some of them hesitate on even making friendly contact because the fans go all crazy about it. - and this song celestian that you just checked out, is from their third album also called CELESTIAL.

The kisses is because RBD came out of the mexican serie REBELDE...and Anahi and Poncho, Dulce and Christopher they played couples in the series. And when it started they kissed on the shows bc of it, after the serie ended it was just sometimes as a nod to the fans. Maite & Christian didn't play a couple in the serie, they used to joke around after the other kisses running after each other playfully as if they were gonna kiss, stuff like. AND Maite has a joint part singing in the song Celestial with Poncho, you can hear her voice but they showed only him. Watch her singing her solos "Cuando el amor se acaba" and "Empezar desde de cero" . Maite and Poncho were the only ones who weren't singers and never intended to be singers when they started the serie, but they jumped head first, and what Maite did with her singing career after RBD was actually amazing. Poncho continued to focus on his acting career, as he always said he would. He even did SENSE 8 on Netflix, he's gonna be on the final season of Ozark, did Queen of South.

Celestial's message is basically "Love (and to love) is heavenly/celestial no matter what anyone else says/does". It's the title track from their 3rd studio album "Celestial." You've heard some of the music from that album, 'Ser o Parecer' which was the first single from the album. You pronounced Maite's name right the second time (MY-tay/MY-teh).
