I think what most aspirants watching this miss is that he only attempted ONE exam. People who only focus one exam for a year have much less distraction and diversion. He didn't have 3-4 phases of switching to some other exam studies and attempt their mocks for a period of about 15 days per exam. N that's a lot of time saved. So yes, one can prepare Economics, finance in 9 months (he had a background in management) provided they are gifted in their aptitude for exceptional skill in maths or language.

Saying consistency is the key os the biggest scapegoat in the world. I've been consistent for more than a year and Sincerely. Sometimes there has to be a bit of luck to clear exams. Talk about the top 100 candidates below the last candidate who cleared UPSC/RBI exam and hear their stories, you'll find they did as much as the people who got selected but still fell short somewhere either due to silly mistakes or just plain unlucky.

I don't want to say anything to hurt anyone. But is it really compulsory to speak in English while talking about the experiences? Because I know it's gud but I haven't found anyone speaking in hindi as well, are all persons who crack RBI are fluent in English or it is that much compulsory.

If you wanna be rbi grade b officer, you have to score 60% in your graduation. Any bachelor's degree will fulfill the criteria. Economics has a major part in this. You should choose the subject you like the most.
