Cutting Boards From *Mostly* Scrap Part 2

I have had a slimmer, longitudinal strip version of a cutting board very much like it for about 3 years now and it is holding up very well. I can wash it off with water or with soap and it pretty much dries by itself as it is impervious to water. We also use it as a serving tray for the table although I avoid placing anything that is oven hot on it as it could show burn marks.

Sometimes reversing feed direction on planer will also reduce grain blow out or pulling out along with shallow cut
