I just thought of something. You know those dremels that have an extension pen grip that comes out and is on a flexible shaft, someone should make a flexible shaft for an rc drive shaft. To help reduce the crazy drive shaft angles. Hopefully the bend radius will be fairly small.

Awesonymous RC it’s to short to get a good flex. The cables would be too kinked. You could do that on a longer drive shaft tho.

Already did the quad tires on my SCX. Works great with a good Hitec servo and reversing the bolts so there are no clearance issue with the axle

i hope that traxxas 2075 servo works out for you, ive had NO luck with those. the internal gears shatter under pressure, i thing you need metal or titanium gears for a servo in that build. its beastly, keep up the good work! cant wait to see more

@dirtnmud no problem. lipos can be hard to work with if you don't know anything about them. i would imagine you got a lipo compatible battery charger too.

i had a traxxas rustler brushed and i put a 11.1 and i fried the motor and im only 12 so it was about 2010 and that truck you made is AMAZING

Ive been watching your vids so far. Overkill but great project. But I am wondering about your drive system. The outputshaft of your transmission and the input shaft of your diffs are not in the same line. they are almost 90 degrees turned. Since you are using universal joints this means that your wheels will go fast and slow within 1 turn of the driveshaft. (a drawback of universal joints). I guess Ill now watch the rest and see how it all works out.

you do know that now this is a 6x6 beast with 4 roc 412 brushless motors right? also has a smoke kit, rollin on tracks, has a sound kit, just about everything u can think of also a custom built snow blower.
