Just a quick tip if you don't do it already! I use a 1/2" paint brush to apply grease etc, can really get it into all the nooks and crannys, :-)

You should use the bars with out the holes in them. They might be easier to have to clean down the road. Love your vids by the way!

hi medic! i think the beefy ones would work fine in that rig since the goal is to make it indestructible ;-) this build is looking awsome so far, really built strong;-)

I think the thin ones are more scale, but i really like the big drilled out ones. either way, its gonna be a great rig!

let first off say love the channel. Also your channel has got me back into RC's. Well im not sure if its a big deal or not, But i noticed you holding the shock shaft W/ channel locks, which could result in scaring the shaft and possibly a premature blowing of the seal ;) "that's what...well you know rest"! Im not trying to tell you how to do it, just friendly advise! Again thanks for all that you have done with the vid's and info.

yeah, use the beefy rails with the holes drilled out! That's just my opinion. Thanks

I say the bent links, they look more scale and I'm sure they'd be strong enough. Build's looking good BTW.

I would go function over form with the beefy links. Always good stuff whatever you do.

I don't know much about RC stuff but I had a question, Are those actuall differentials on the axles or just bevel gears? Just curious cos I used to own a nitro buggy (cheap and nasty) that had a diff at the engine and one on each axle
@Dustyfx4
@Dustyfx4 13 жыл бұрын
The beefy links look great but think about when you are in the mud, the mud will probably stay in the holes in the of the beefy links. I think just the bent links would work just as good and not give you as much trouble down the road!!!!!

@djmedic2008 Totaly love it. I would give the XR 10 links a try and see if they will work. It can't hurt anything. I won't have mine up and runing till my futuba 4PL gets in . I'm still working on getting into Lipo batteries. I have an Idea how to make a different dual motor plate and transmission . One motor would be on each side the the trans so the weight wouldn't be all on one side. .
