Just a quick tip if you don't do it already! I use a 1/2" paint brush to apply grease etc, can really get it into all the nooks and crannys, :-)

@sailingjacobe13 жыл бұрын
You should use the bars with out the holes in them. They might be easier to have to clean down the road. Love your vids by the way!
@pscs7413 жыл бұрын
hi medic! i think the beefy ones would work fine in that rig since the goal is to make it indestructible ;-) this build is looking awsome so far, really built strong;-)
@SFRCPhototography13 жыл бұрын
hey Medic put the beefy ones on becuase you have all that torque those links are gonna bend fast same happend on my ax10 especially if your in the mud and stuff,Cheers
@AllWheelz4713 жыл бұрын
I think the thin ones are more scale, but i really like the big drilled out ones. either way, its gonna be a great rig!
@Dans_new_adventures13 жыл бұрын
This build is coming along nice can't wait to see it all finished and about the links if you want a big bad ass truck use the big links they will fit the truck nice and by the way keep those jokes coming Cheers ozzy rc crawler
@skinnyfish11113 жыл бұрын
I LoLed so hard at the 'thats what she said' jokes. oh btw, the big ones.

let first off say love the channel. Also your channel has got me back into RC's. Well im not sure if its a big deal or not, But i noticed you holding the shock shaft W/ channel locks, which could result in scaring the shaft and possibly a premature blowing of the seal ;) "that's what...well you know rest"! Im not trying to tell you how to do it, just friendly advise! Again thanks for all that you have done with the vid's and info.
@roypatterson99108 жыл бұрын
yeah, use the beefy rails with the holes drilled out! That's just my opinion. Thanks
@RCBashist13 жыл бұрын
I say the bent links, they look more scale and I'm sure they'd be strong enough. Build's looking good BTW.
@2008calander13 жыл бұрын
I would go function over form with the beefy links. Always good stuff whatever you do.
@Twizt3dArc12 жыл бұрын
I don't know much about RC stuff but I had a question, Are those actuall differentials on the axles or just bevel gears? Just curious cos I used to own a nitro buggy (cheap and nasty) that had a diff at the engine and one on each axle
@Dustyfx413 жыл бұрын
The beefy links look great but think about when you are in the mud, the mud will probably stay in the holes in the of the beefy links. I think just the bent links would work just as good and not give you as much trouble down the road!!!!!
@TheHellraise2112 жыл бұрын
hey medic i dont own any rc trucks but i love 2 sit here and watch ur videos lol just wish i had the money 2 build a truck .....anyway just sayin i like ur videos

@leocrazy098713 жыл бұрын
Use the big buggers... That would complete the look you want and give you the strength
@asob1713 жыл бұрын
the beefy one are good looking pieces of kit, but like you said, the truck is going for the scale look rather than perfomance so i rekkon for this rig use the ent links not the 'big buggers' lol

when you put the title of scx10 dually i thought you where building an actual dually with four tires in the rear. but now you got another idea if you can do it. :)
@cowboy07236913 жыл бұрын
@djmedic2008 Totaly love it. I would give the XR 10 links a try and see if they will work. It can't hurt anything. I won't have mine up and runing till my futuba 4PL gets in . I'm still working on getting into Lipo batteries. I have an Idea how to make a different dual motor plate and transmission . One motor would be on each side the the trans so the weight wouldn't be all on one side. .
@NANDOTCBASS13 жыл бұрын
medic those 101mm high clearance links work for the honcho???

@artardFTW13 жыл бұрын
Use the ones wit the drilled holes in em. They will look sexy on that truck.
@cowboy07236913 жыл бұрын
Hey Medic..I think the big links would be much better and just down right strong. Thats if there long enough and well lubed...I'll be back
@goGOgocarting12 жыл бұрын
