RC boat Beneteau 37 build part 10

Video number 10 of the series for building a scale radio-controlled sailboat of the Beneteau Oceanis 37, is a DIY project in which I show how to make an RC sailboat from scratch using 3d modeling based on images top and side of the model, then designed a creates molds using 3d printing.
In this episode, I will design some covers using aluminum, paint the hull and the flotation line using a laser as a guide, and cover the cabin floor with wood. Hope enjoin the content!!!

Gracias por su presentación. Buen trabajo. Respetuosamente creo que el resultado hubiera sido mejor y más sencillo imprimiendo el casco y la cubierta con su impresora 3D que entre otras cosas es de muy buena calidad. Cordial saludo.

Fue algo que pense cuando estaba uniendo las differents piezas del molde, pero la impresion 3d tiene varios problemas, cada capa de material no esta fucionado completamente con la anterior dejando orificios por donde el agua puede entrar, otro problema es que no es tan fuerte como la fibra de vidrio y tendria que aggregar mas material y peso. Incluso cuando applique "primer" para dar el acabo final al molde y darle lijado humedo el agua pasaba atravez de la pieza, y para recubrir el barco impreso en 3d pense que era mejor hacerlo de fibra de vidrio completo y dejar solo moldes en 3d. Quizas en el futuro pruebe hacer un modelo pequeno usando tu sugerencia. Gracias por tu pregunta y saludos igual.

Great project. I'm looking forward to seeing more on this model. I'm trying to find a yacht to model as well. I want it to be something about 48" to 54" with a 1:20 scale. I want to 3d print the mold as well. I have an Artillery Sidewinder X1 and an Anycubic Photon Mono resin printer for the scale fittings.
