I have done the night hatch now, I face I had a serious build day on Saturday. The second hatch is very detailed. But I was surprised that things fitted 😊. Have a great week Cliff 🫡

What you're going to need is an RC floatplane to 'ditch' in the lake, and then send out the RAF Crash Tender to drag it back to shore. Simples.

The boat is really coming along nicely. I m glad you decided against making it removable on this first build. I look forward to seeing it float 😁 I went with my mate he was sailing one of his boats we looked round as someone shouted we looked back and the boat was gone 🙈 it had sunk in seconds. We retrieved it and emptied it checked it nothing wrong with it and it never sank again !! Weird !!! it's a mystery why it sank

As an aeromodeller, I've been tempted to build a boat on more than one occasion. Never pulled the trigger, though. Too many choices.

You really should, I chose this because of the RAF, so ties into aircraft. I would like to build like HMS Victoria or somthing. Be interesting to see if you go for it. Have a great week ahead 🫡

@@DadsRCHangar I remember at one point I had a catalog of Saito live steam engines. Oh, my! Yeah, that dream died too. At any rate, I have at least a half dozen other projects already lined up. At this moment, I'm working on a Sig Kadet Senior for a Saito 62. Then, I have a Stinson Voyager from a Dumas kit to finish. And so on. So many airplanes, only one lifetime... Blue skies!
