Awesome video! It’s great to see such a fantastic flying sled, especially one that’s perfect for a beginner like me. Could you please share the plans again? The previous link seems to have expired, and I’d love to give it a try.

Awesome. Looking forward to your ground effect vehicle! But as an actual pilot and aerodynamics enthusiast your "trapped bubble" explanation of ground effect is a popular one but incorrect.

Really cool, reminds me of a cox engine pusher prop no control just a board and a mount that kind of looked like an everglades boat, except we ran it on the icy streets in the winter. Lots of fun. A pusher version of this with a bit of an airfoil might be interesting. Great idea and looks like lots of fun.

Nice. Looks like a lot of fun. I think if you added some rounded wing tips out on the sided with some slight dihedral, it would stabilize better in the glide. Wish we had some snow like that in Arizona.

Hi there, I would recommend looking at the Caspian Sea monster, ( a giant ground effect aircraft made in WWII ) for some inspiration, and one tip. I think it would look pretty cool if this thing was BIG! Your the best rc channel I could find, and I love the change of projects! All the best, JKHStudios

Well I've started building it now... I couldn't believe I had literally everything I needed in the garage, no need to buy anything :) I've got a slightly big motor on mine though, a 35mm 1100kv motor, with 10x6 prop.... it was either that or a little 28mm 2200kv motor with 6x4 prop. So far I've built the skids and cut the main plate, rudder and elevons tomorrow, along with all the electrics. I've got an orangerx 3axis stabiliser from HK going on mine :)

I just made my first air foiled foam plane, and as it takes off it does this instant flip.. Then nose dives into the ground. I was hoping you would know how to fix this, as i am still quite slow at making my own planes. i've tried taking weight from the tail but nothing worked. And also, should I just not be air foiling an elmers board foamie?
