So I got the bnf version and know there are 2 ways to bind it. One for the rtf and one for a computerized tx. She is fast and agile, stabilized modes are weird to me, but if the 2 beginner was probably better. Intermediate doesn't spool up until you lift the stick but the blades are negatively pitched. It will fly down fast if not careful. Full acro is very reactive, but spools up as expected so is predictable. Once you yet the feel though, you can easily flip it in an average sized room. I'm learning to fly the Nano S3. I laminated a sheet of A4 paper as a helipad with a nice circle and a printed "H" inside. Trouble landing on it as it is a smooth surface with a nice amount of ground effect. The helicopter would just slip off over the edge when landing. Had a bit of a think about this and thought what if; Some thin bublewrap glued to surface with rough side up and still see helipad features underneath might work to negate the ground effect. IT WORKS FOLKS. Thought I'd share this here.

It went up and I tried to move it to the left it was so sensitive flipped right over and crashed into the grass. Tail bent and canopy cracked lol waiting on the new tail to give it a go again. @@TheRcSaylors another thing that makes the little helis fly better is if you have the landing gear that holds the 150mah battery you can use the landing gear for the heli that's a little bigger that holds a 200mah battery just that little bit more wight helps a lot for stability and the bigger battery adds just a little more head speed so it still has the same power to wight ratio they fly a lot smoother if you do those two things but for 3d flight use the highest c rating 150mah battery you can find I use lectron pro 45c in mine they work great

Hello, always check that the main gear is snugged up on the main shaft. It sometimes slips down and causes problems with pitch. Also, the reason rc helis jump up and down during flight when you hit the "crazy" switch (idle-up) is because they come pre-programmed with different throttle and pitch curves on different switch positions. Your Tx does sound kind of though. Good Luck!!!

Any OpenTX transmitter with a multiprotocol module can bind to Spektrum receivers such as the one in this helicopter. Brands are Jumper, Radiomaster, and Taranis. The multiprotocol modules can be internal or external and all are able to transmit and bind to DSM2 or DSMX protocols which is what Spektrum uses. OpenTX has a learning curve for setting up a model configuration although once you learn it it is easy.
