RC MN128, GREY JEEP, UNBOXING & TEST DRIVE

This is the new MN128 Jeep Wrangler RTR in grey.
It's based on the same chassis as the MN86 G500.
It's a great looking truck in the flesh.
Good modulation for an RTR.
Selectable descent brake.
All side doors & bonnet open.
Battery under the rear floor as per the MN86.
Springs are quite stiff & tyres a little hard.
Alternative springs are in the box.
Nice looking plastic wheels.
80mm tyres, the same type as MN86.
I chose not to fit the roof rack right now. Thought it looked better without it.
A great advantage is all the spares & upgrades for the MN86 chassis fit.
So watch this space for some new parts.

Hello James. Essentially it is identical to the MN86 underneath. So if the style of bodies doesn't work for you then there is no serious gain. But for me I wanted some good 1/12 scale RCs as I don't have many good locations for the 1/10 scale trucks. On the plus side though. The electronics are very good for an RTR. Especially as the smaller scale MN models have quite poor ESC's in my opinion. There are loads of cheap upgrades for the MN86 already in circulation. I revisited my MN86 chassis earlier this year and really started to appreciate just how good it could be. Looks cool. How tall is the driver? Did you have to remove the legs to fit him inside?

Hello, the figure is 5 inches tall. I didn't have to remove the legs. The foot well is an adequate size. But the head is jammed quite tight against the roof. But it looks Ok. The figure is Rick from the Macfarlane Walking Dead series. I've got more videos on this grey Jeep & the black one on the way. Thanks for watching & commenting. 👍.

wow it crawls so slow, is it real speed??? i have seen some mn 78 (the cherokee) that are very far away from this low speed and torque . Im wating my MN 82 lc79 new land cruiser pick up, i hope it crawl as good as this one, nice video!!!

Hello, this video is around half speed. It is not the same chassis as the MN78 Cherokee. It's bigger and based on the MN86 Mercedes. So a lot better design and crawls well out of the box. I have an MN78 and it is not slow. It needs modifications. I hadn't seen the MN82 LC79. Thank you for pointing that out. I have just ordered the red one. 👍😁

The figure is a walking dead action figure, Rick. Approximately 5" tall. It's a but tight for head room, but he doesn't move. Thanks for watching & commenting. 👍

Good question. In my opinion MN128. MN128 RTR is cheaper than a MN86 RTR for me. Not much difference in price from MN99S. MN128 has better electronics than the other two. Lights & modulation. MN128 has slightly better finish than MN86. I do like them all though. I have several MN99s and a couple of MN86. Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍
