The bumper looks perfect in case you strike one of the 1/8 scale kangaroos we have around here, this being Aussie RC Playground after all.

Lifetime warranty on Tbone gear is sweet !! Bumper looks mean don’t like the wheelie bar 😎

By far the best looking bumper and wheelie bar for the Kraton to date. Looks like I need to place an order. Really looking forward to the Altona torture test. Thanks Vas, another great vid! 👊

Great video like always. Sounds like a bit of a headache with the TBone upgrades. No instructions, parts don’t lineup and missing screws. After watching your video for the mud guards I looked up TBone...geez they’re expensive. I’ll just replace with original parts. Like always love ur videos Aussie

Hi Vas and guys! Does anyone know if that TBR Custom Rear Y006 wheelie would fit a HSP Monster truck! The four screw holes on the bottom look pretty universal. If anyone knows or can help would be a great help! cheers

I have t bone on my hype st and tbh I had to look on a hyper St owner thread to check I did it right. Literally 1 piece of paper with a few pics would have been useful.

I've given them the same feedback. It seems the only thing that they lack in their products - some basic instructions. other than that, their products are really good quality.

I was planning on switching out my steering servo since it's under powered and switching out the ESC to a higher amp Hobbywing Esc since the ESC does get very hot. I always run mines on 2 3s 5400mah lipo batteries the ones sold by towerhobbies. Any advice or recommendations Vassy?
@AussieRCPlayground7 жыл бұрын
No need to switch out ESC since the stock one is already 150amps and unless the motor draws more than that, there's no need to change. There's probably about 100 servo recommendations out there depending on who you ask, some are well priced and others not so much. For a budget servo, I'd go with a JX or Trackstar servo, I've been having great luck with those and they perform well for the price. If you like to buy name brands, go with a Savox or Hi-tech. Check you specs and be sure to get something at least 20kg to be a good upgrade from the stock 15kg. Hope that helps.

Aussie RC Playground Thank you soo much. You are awesome keep up the hard work. I watched your videos on the Arrma Kraton V3 over and over before buying but once you have in your own hands is that you really find out how Amazing this truck is inside and out. Thanks again for your reply

Nice pit stop vid vas. Just curious as to why you didn't put these upgrades on your new v3 kraton lol. When I seen the headline for the vid I figured that's what it was on. None the less love the kraton. Also on mine it doesn't pop wheelies. Is there something I need to change or adjust to get wheelies
@AussieRCPlayground7 жыл бұрын
I'm testing the V3 Kraton in stock form first, so that's why I didn't install these in that truck. Plus, this Kraton already has the other GKA upgrades, so it made more sense to me to keep all the upgrades in the one car. If you want wheelies, change the centre diff oil to at least 200-300k oil. I used 500k in my OutCast and it's wheelie good fun to drive. ;) However, just be mindful that thicker oil in the centre diff will liven up the rear end on the turns and you may experience over-steer. You may need to change oil a couple of times to find a setting that works for you.
@spt_killerwood7 жыл бұрын
Aussie RC Playground yea makes more sense to put your upgrades on that one lol. Wow I didn't know changing center diff oil would do that. I figured maybe it was something with the punch setting lol. Just got my kraton for Xmas and I'm still getting use to the power this beast has. Thx vas and keep up the good work my friend

You are using 6S, right?
@spt_killerwood7 жыл бұрын
Aussie RC Playground yes 6s all the way. I was using 2 3s 5400mah 50c onyx packs But I just got 2 smc 7200 131 amp 90c 3s batteries.
@netcruzer7 жыл бұрын
Hey Vas, I've also heard that the V3 causes some incompatibilities with aftermarket bumpers and skids front and rear because of the changed diff casing and the changed stock bumpers. So you likely wouldn't have been able to use those T-bone parts on V3 anyway.
@TheKerry677 жыл бұрын
Hey vas have you found any other bodyshells for the kraton v2? I've trashed 3 of the original ones and they are £60 each, need to find a cheaper option.
@AussieRCPlayground7 жыл бұрын
The Kraton uses a truggy chassis, so most 1/8 scale truggy bodies should fit as long as the body posts don't come through the body in odd spots. I'm using a Proline bulldog body on my Talion and had to modify the front body posts for it to fit, but no big deal.

T-Bone products have great durability but average fit/finish & excessively and high prices = an okay product.

I dont think i like the way those sausage bars are on the outside of the front bumper. Thats just going to want to dig in on front-heavy bad landings.
@AussieRCPlayground7 жыл бұрын
The only way they will dig into the ground is if you nose-dart the car. There’s no way they will interfere otherwise. Besides, their job is to protect the car when you crash and as long as they do that, then they’re doing their job.
@drongojonkins89457 жыл бұрын
Yeah thats what i mean, the dreaded lawn dart.
@drongojonkins89457 жыл бұрын
But it does look very tough and will provide a lot of protection though. I reckon if i got one i might take the bars off.
@taevy127 жыл бұрын
see this is why you should buy the brand that has alot of parts support. no matter how good stock parts are, you''ll end upgrading it anyway. stock don't last
@AussieRCPlayground7 жыл бұрын
I don't see your point. Why buy a brand purely based on aftermarket parts support? Wouldn't that mean that what your buying is of poor quality and the you'll just spend more money on upgrades? That makes no sense...
@beerenmusli82207 жыл бұрын
I disagree. Why should I buy a car, if I already know that its gonna break? If aftermarket manufacturers can produce lasting parts, why should the main manufacturerer couldnt?
@taevy127 жыл бұрын
Beerenmüsli there's a thing brother. stock will break. learn to accept that
@beerenmusli82207 жыл бұрын
+Vuthina reoun Dont call me brother if you are at least discussing with me. If your Stock keeps breaking, either your choice of car or your driving behavior is developable. My LC Racing EMB-1 did not break once. No unlubed car can withstand dirty water, all that happend are loud bearrings. Not even broken, just loud.
