Awesome, thanks for your effort. I started printing this and it's looking great. Looking forward to flying off water soon, though with the weather getting colder, may have to wait for spring and maybe fly it off of ice or snow if the right conditions present themselves. Have printed fuelage 1 through 5 and wings 1 and two left and right. Everything is very simple and easy so far. The only part that was not as nice as yours is the fuselage 1, where the upper windshield curves meet the wing root. Some holes in this area and not a big deal, easily patched though I must try to figure out what to do to achieve the same result you made on this part.
@markoroolaid Жыл бұрын
Wow, very wonderful. I'm always very happy when someone uses my drawings and ideas :) By the way, I also had small holes there. I filled them with white car body filler. It was such a small job that it didn't make it into the video.

Hello. I'm building this plane for a school project. How many layers did you make the wing outer wall thickness when taking 3D prints? I printed part of the wing, but it looks a bit heavy. How many layers did you make the wall thickness in 3D printing? I would be happy if you give me information.

@markoroolaid Жыл бұрын
I guess you mean the RC transmitter. The link is not included as it is personal to each pilot and available at very different prices. A transmitter is not purchased for just one aircraft. But this plane needs at least a 4 channel transmitter.

How do you like the Bambu? Is it your first printer? If not, what did you use before?
@markoroolaid Жыл бұрын
Hi, I have had Ender 5 plus and Qidi X plus before. However, Bambu is on a whole other level. This is the first printer that reminds me of a paper printer - out of the box, plug in and it works. It is a fast, quiet and extremely good quality printer. I highly recommend
@gagegr Жыл бұрын
I am considering it, but one of my kids loves to make large things (masks, costimes, etc). I would really love more build volume. Do you find yourself missing the Ender 5 Plus' build volume? I am waiting and hoping they release a Bambu XL.@@markoroolaid

I so wanted this to be legit. He only made an airplane that looks like a Helio. The aircraft is missing so many key features that it is incapable of flying like the real McCoy. What a disappointment. Great use of a 3D printer though. I may have to consider that route instead of balsa.
