That was a Cool Run in a beautiful Area! I have only JUST been able to get into the "Club"!! I was Given a SCX10 II RAW Builder's Kit, by a very Generous Person from the RC AIRCRAFT Community!! He also gave me a Pro-Line Comanche Body for it. I'm hoping to build something out of the norm, and maybe do an Adventure like yours. I'm a Disabled Veteran and my Legs don't work like they used to, but that act of Generosity has inspired me to get out there and enjoy something that I couldn't dream of affording before!! I'm grateful indeed. Merry Christmas! Carmine 💥 ⛽

I just picked one of these up today at work for 150$, I do vehicle wraps for a living and I wrap all of Casey Currie's stuff and I am always at the CRC shop, bunch of cool people and his dad the owner of Currie enterprises is around the corner and is always hanging out lol. I'm super lucky to know the Currie family and do work for them I get a 50% discount on Axial products so I plan on getting a bunch more and I'm super excited to take my first Axial out on the trails. Oh and I know 150 is more than 50% off the scx10 but Cody hooked it up because they had like five of these red ones there, line was still in the shipping box lol box inside a box hahaha.

If your into the slow trail/crawler scene then I would say yeah, but I've seen a lot of used trail rigs on eBay that people just don't use like they thought they would. For me I like it more than bashing, all my fast RCs are always broken so it's nice to have my trail trucks that never break lol. I like trail driving and crawling more than anything now and I love never having to buy parts unless I want to upgrade. Beaumont would be awesome for this rig, It does great in the desert.

@undeadmatador5 жыл бұрын
So just a heads up, its important to note the model number on this one. The motor is still about an inch more towards the front on RTR than on a kit. So some front mounted battery trays such as SAMIX wont fit as well as quite a few other parts i have found after owning this model. The website doesn't have a specific manual either. Other than that, the truck is fantastic out of the box. Its a great buy for someone getting into the hobby.

When fitting bodyshells with interiors onto an SCX10 standard chassis with standard gearing, do you have to get a transfer case to stop the gears from scraping the bottom of the interior? Or can you cut a small groove in the bottom plate so the gears can spin- without buying a transfer case? Great vid!!

@stpbasss37736 жыл бұрын
It's actually very fast for a trail or crawler rig lol, your in the wrong part of the hobby if you want to go fast, this is not a basher and will break if you add more speed to it, if you want to take a crawler and make it fast then get a trx4 they can handle anything you put in them and I've seen the stock gears running on 6s with no problems.

I bought this Jeep based on this video. Runs great but those running boards that hold the body, no, they had to go. They just don’t work. The body pops out all the time. Also, there’s no color choice. All red, I’m not a “red “ guy. Everyone with this scx looks the same. I replaced the body with a scx 1 body painted green, much happier. Mechanical for out of the box, awesome. Weak point, shocks. Plastic leakers, going for Pro Line 6060.

Why Axial, WHY! Why do you make all of these great strides, make a nice rtr scale body and then not put in wheel wells, and side skirts? The jeep looks great right up until the point when the sun shines through and all you see is the electronics and wheels. Come on Axial even Redcat has enough sense to give those scale details. Other then that, great video and nice new edition to the scx lineup, but yet still nothing ground breaking.

I really don't want to be givin' you a downer, but you did a video no more than 6 months ago and really praised the Traxxas TRX-4 and gave it a really great review. The bad part of these reviews is that they are basically the same thing. I am sure that the Axial 2, again going by the description, is basically an attempt of Axial to try to keep up with what Traxxas has achieved with their first scale and trail rock crawler. The Axial may be a decent vehicle, I'm sure it is, but please try not to use the exact same words to describe two different companies machines. That is akin to saying an apple tastes like a banana and both of them taste like an orange!
