It's a fantastic budget 3D heli but one needs to buy quite a few spare parts cos something is sure to be damaged if it crashes. Powerful brushless motor and long flight time. Love the sound of the blades chopping thru the air. Highly recommended !

Good job Pete, I have had mine for about 8 months now and flown it quite a few times. This heli is really stable and for someone starting out with the hobby, this would be a good one to start with.

Thanks for the vid and Pink Floyd was the icing on the cake. I just got my V950 a few days ago and will take it out for a spin tmrw. I have a "ton" of quads and little helicopters because I like flying but I brought a big Blade 400 last year but with the collective pitch it's difficult to fly. I plan on practicing with this one in stunt mode until I get good on the sticks and then I will work on my Blade. I have a Spektrum DX6i transmitter and it's a BEAST!

Can you switch the flight mode between 3D on 6g during the flight, or do you have to restart the helicopter every time?

Thanks for throwing the sticks to a heli! They have come so far in the last 12 years since I first tried to fly one. My blade cp was and still is so unstable and unpredictable that it's brown pants time to hover it around. meanwhile I can pick up a v911 and tail in funnel with little sweat. The quad revolution has paid dividends for all rc aircraft so it's good to see companies and pilots taking advantage!

haha, there have been some long breaks in there due to real life and smacking face-first into the learning curve, so I'm basically new all over again, and it's a good time to be flying.

I just mounted FPV on this heli but it got dark before I could try it. It has a micro TX and camera the is barely noticeable in weight. I bench tested it with the rotors running and did a quick indoor hover and it seems like it is going to be great. I will share the vids when I fly it.

Yup! I'm an old guy Pete! I started with the Heli revolution. Though it sounds like I been flying but can't do any 3D aerobatic nor inverted flights😂 I've stop and gave up Rc Heli way back 2010 financial problem and my wife was mad of my expenses😔. I'm a slow learner I had this problem how do you call it? Finger and eye coordination. My brain is laggy it has delayed reaction. But when flying my Syma X5uc Man! I feel young again. Cant described this feeling of joy specially doing the 360deg flip! Wow!😎 Because of Pete's channel and reviews I came back to this hobby. Rock! On Pete your the Man!!✌️👍

I would purchase, like the look of it, but I am concerned the tail rotor may quit or shread the gear cogs or something, I want my next heli to be strong and durable and reliable, not fail and end up being shelved forever until I fix it. I really want the KDS Innova 450, £70 for heli of banggood - but you have to build it ( would need to get electricals as well) or £199 to buy RTF. The Innova must be a better heli.This looks tempting though.

I think that's to be expected given that it's a single rotor up top , versus 4 rotors in each corner for more stability .

you could put a bigger battery but there is the increase in weight and although it will increase flight time but decreases performance and with a 7.4v 4800mah, it may definitely not perform as good as the stock 3s battery. It is better to have a second stock battery.

So i haven't really flown a Heli before like this one with single blades. I hope i am ok with it lol. I couldn't afford the deal with 4 batteries on Bangood, so i bought just the Heli, controller and one battery for £89.00. £101 with delivery..

And I got to say I've heard the controls on that helicopter a little delayed but that's okay and I also heard it likes to break a lot because it's a pretty big size helicopter now I've had the wltoys v977 and that thing is virtually Unbreakable but to me being that it's so small it's very underpowered. drestarss good save yourself a lot of headaches and weeks of waiting for parts and go up the v977 I know it's really small but God can that thing take a beating and I think it's a great helicopter to learn on both have to 6G access to help you learn and get over that difficult curve and you can switch it over the 3D when you graduate and you want to become more of a 3D pilot. I know the V950 looks a lot cooler and bigger but if you have one accident with that it's a goner take it from me bro I waited almost a month to get parts for it and there's nothing more frustrating then waiting 6 weeks sometimes almost 2 months to get a stupid part which I'll never do again

The first thing I ever flew was one of those cheap Syma helis I got for Christmas 2012. Took a while to get the hang of it, but it set me up to later learn quads and RC planes too. They all have different principles of flight, but I definitely wouldn't write-off helis - they're pretty durable :)

Ron Thompson, Believe me when I say that you are totally wrong when it comes to flying CP helicopters, the are heaps harder to fly than multirotors, especially when they are in acro mode, multirotors are basic and very easy to fly.

klas iversen +I did not, & did repair it with new parts,but when I power it up again, a servo start to smoke. Turns out the crash had also stripped the servo gears. Servos are on order. Crosse your fingers for me ,lol.
