We are using them with 2 nx l-24 tops. Big and powerfull sub, but on live shows you need 4 of them to keep up with the nx l-24's mids and highs and 3 of them to get a punchy sound in your chest with nx l-44a. Nice video guys. Saw the notification and I clicked the video instantly :))

If I may ask, do you think the difference between nxl-24 and nxl-44 is big enough for the price difference?

Great video, quick question. What does the xover output do??? Thank you for any feedback.
@sweettreeproductions21496 жыл бұрын
DJNexuz1 the crossover output allows you to send signal to a (high frequency) top cabinet and the signal is already crossed over. It keeps your tops from having to attempt to reproduce a frequency that the sub is producing. It really makes the sound tighter.

Hi man, just bought one 8004-AS to go with a couple of TT25 old version. Don't have enough space for two subs for transport (I move around in my car), so I have to accept the compromise of just one sub in Center/Mono out of the console. Now I want to kindly ask an advice: would you suggest using it in Deep (flat response) or Punch (little boost at 70 Hz) mode in my situation ? I've tried both and there isn't a big difference but I feel bass freqs have a little more presence in Punch because of that little boost I guess. What do you think ? Would be a good choice using it in Punch for little more presence also considering I'm using just one or is it better to keep it in flat and, if needed, giving that little boost from console ? Thanks so much !

I ordered a pair from an NYC dealer, and I just got them yesterday. I’m a bit disappointed with them. It’s a real shame because I wanted to like them. I heard so many good things. And not to mention...the $6000 price tag for the pair 😭 The output is good, but it just doesn’t go as low as I had hoped. I did play with the settings, but maybe I’m missing something. 2 side notes; I’m a long time car audio and home theater guy, so...deep thunderous bass is in my blood. I’m also a bass player. I hope someone can help me out. I’ll be posting this comment on other similar videos on KZbin. Thanks in advance for the help.

Bernie L so sadly with your background the 8004 is going to have a hard time delivering the sub harmonic frequencies you are wanting. Most PA subs don’t do a ton in the 20-30 range which is what I bet you are missing. The SUB8005 would definitely be closer. The SUB9006 and 9007 is really what you would want to experience what you are going after. If you can return those give us a call 2562754734 we could have saved you over $1000 on the 8004’s.

Sweet Tree Productions Thanks for the response. The dual subs wouldn’t work for me. They are far too heavy and bulky for my application. Even a single 21 would be too big and heavy. They have to fit through doorways in order to get in and out of my basement. Plus if the seller let me return them, id probably need to buy another set from him to avoid the restocking fee. I’m screwed either way. I had a pair of JL Audio 13inch subs in my car that was louder and much deeper than these expensive RCF subs. I don’t really understand how 🤦♂️

Roland I use the XLR out from the mixer board to send signal to the sub. I use the crossover out on the sub to send signal to the tops. I live 30 minutes from manhattan but I hardly go there unless a have to lol.

What is the sense in standing right in front of the speaker is that smart you think that is a good way to let us hear the speaker?
@sweettreeproductions21494 жыл бұрын
It’s probably better than behind it :). Sadly with low frequency it is hard to ever record and reproduce what the speaker is doing accurately. Using a SMAART system or RTA would be a better visual to at least see what is happening but most people don’t understand how to read the algorithm results. Thanks for the comment.
@MrDonking19674 жыл бұрын
@@sweettreeproductions2149 Think it would be a lot smarter and much more useful if you have the speakers some room to develop the sound. This is easily done by stepping back about 40 to 70 feet then record from there.
