You are an excellent teacher, you speak well, you don't do your thing to please KZbin but to help the actual viewer. Thank you and also thank you for avoiding those shameful clickbait thumbnails everyone thinks are necessary to attract an audience. Classy stuff.

I love this series of videos Timmy! Would love to better understand tuning min throttle setting to tune better for inverted flying.....
@TimmyRC2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I don't usually lower the idle settings since it will sacrifice responsiveness at idle. However, a factor that most people don't consider is that you should run the lowest KV motors possible that still provide the desired full throttle thrust/rpm since they will have a lower idle rpm without sacrificing responsiveness at idle. Hence why I run 1922KV on 4S.

I would like to know why zero trottle in important in tricks. Is there any relation to slow-mo in manuvers with respect to zero throttle? In this video, did you kept AIR mode or only Acro? what is the rate and expo?
@TimmyRC2 жыл бұрын
The main reason to use zero throttle is that many tricks involve inverted flight, so using zero throttle increases the hang time. Another reason is that there is less gyroscopic effect from the props at zero throttle. You should use Airmode for freestyle since it improves control at zero throttle. I don't like to share my rates because they will not feel the same unless you have the same exact transmitter, gimbal setup, drone setup, and PID tune as me. However, I have a Rates Explained video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iGm3p4Vnl75jmK8

how did you get your quad to be so quiet?

6 inch twin blades

@@TimmyRC do twin blades perform decently?
@TimmyRC Жыл бұрын
@@szymonzak6681 Yes, I prefer 6 inch twin blades over 5 inch triblades. I have found them to generally be faster and more efficient.

I'm aware of the idea of gravity that mass doesn't matter, all objects fall at the same rate, but why do I still think smaller lighter quads do have more hang time and are certainly much more floaty. I really want to perform a test of this. Maybe a drone flying a helium balloon would have the best hang time? LUL
@TimmyRC9 ай бұрын
All objects fall at the same acceleration ignoring air resistance. In the real world there is air resistance. It's possible that smaller lighter quads have more drag compared to weight and therefore will accelerate less quickly due to gravity and will have a lower terminal velocity, giving the impression of more hang time.
