All that technology for just $160 US. Mind boggling. I am old enough to remember prices for rc helicopters in the 1980ies. What a difference. Another well done video, John. Thank you.

Interestingly, my kalt enforcer .30zr also had a hollow mast thru which the collective pitch mechanism was routed. Plus, the entire main gear system was fully enclosed in a plastic body. One negative of this was that there was extra drag from all those gears inside thus reducing power and the hollow mast didn't provide as much pitch as on conventional helis.

How was I suppose to know you were referencing transmitter mode instead of heli stabilization mode? That is not what you asked in your question. You specifically stated "this help has two modes" (I presumed you meant heli). So your actual question is how do you switch from mode 2 to mode 1 on the radio/transmitter. Answer - you can't. The model comes with either a mode 1 or mode 2 radio. If it was selectable, that option would not be available.

I can't think of any fixed pitch micro heli currently on the market that use a brushless motor. There might be a couple, but I certainly haven't run across them. Hello friend, I would like to know if you can help me with a problem with this e-sky 300 v2 model. I bought it and it arrived a couple of days ago, today I was going to fly it for the first time but before raising it I did some tests in stationary mode to make sure everything was working correctly. Unfortunately there is a problem with its tail rotor. Practically everything works but when I move the power or gas stick to the right the tail rotor stops, if I leave the stick in the center the rotor rotates without problem and maintains its stability, if I move the stick to the left the rotor works and It increases its speed to be able to rotate on its own axis to the left. . . but when I move it to the right the tail rotor stops (engine) even the red light on its rudder also goes off. . . I am trying to get the seller to give me a solution but I am afraid that they will act misunderstanding and not solve my problem. The truth is that I am very distressed because the value of this helicopter is not cheap and I have not even made a first flight. Do you know why this problem with the rotor may be occurring? How could it be solved so that it works correctly? I will leave you a link with a video that I uploaded so you can appreciate what I mean. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jojUqYOJipllbLM I hope you can help me, I will really be very grateful :( Greetings.
@Rchelicopterfun4 ай бұрын
That is 100% totally normal tail rotor operation. The tail rotor all on all these small motor driven tail rotor helicopters only spin in one direction to create enough anti-torque thrust to counter main rotor torque. They will not reverse direction to yaw the helicopter when given a full right command since the main rotor torque will yaw the heli right. Since you have never flown it, you have never experienced that it actually works correctly while airborne. This is covered in detail on my website on tail rotor / anti-torque function: www.rchelicopterfun.com/rc-helicopter-rudder.html

@Rchelicopterfun3 жыл бұрын
@Richard C - I cover this question in detail on my website. These two pages specifically: www.rchelicopterfun.com/best-rc-helicopter.html www.rchelicopterfun.com/are-rc-helicopters-hard-to-fly.html As those two pages point out - it totally depends how deep you want to jump into helis when getting started. Fixed wing time doesn't relate at all to heli flight with the exception of banking turns at speed. Quad copter time gives the same basic movements, but they are so easy to fly (especially the GPS ones) compared to a typical RC heli which is a constant balancing act. No question however quad time will help with the basics. Anything with a fuselage should be avoided however for your first introduction to helis - they only complicate things, are more fragile & add extra weight. As I said in the video and if you take the time to study those pages on my website - always better to first learn on pod & boom regardless if it's fixed pitch or collective pitch (my opinion as an RC heli instructor & enthusiast).
