Just bought this heater for my 2 car garage. Temps outside in the low 30s and running it on low heat and definitely tell the difference within a few minutes. NOT LOUD AT ALL, LITTLE TO NO FUMES (I do have my garage door open about an inch or so). WELL WORTH THE PRICE!

Awesome! We have already been able to tackle a couple of projects that would have been pushed off till Spring thanks to this heater. We do the same & leave the garage door open about an inch & have not had any issues with fumes. The blower on the unit pushes the heat everywhere in the garage so it's nice & warm in all 4 corners 😀 Definitely well worth it. Thanks for dropping by & have a great day!! #RCInsiders

I just picked one up and I love it. I’m located in southern Virginia but don’t let that fool you it’s cold , I have been using it for crawlspace work… my only issue which may very well be personal is that in a tight space it causes me to become nauseous and have a slight headache, like I said I doubt it has to do with the heater it’s probably shock from drastic temperature changes

Nice! I use it a lot on jobs with no power. Makes a huge difference when you can actually feel your fingers 😂 If your using it in close spaces make sure you have some ventilation. A small crack in the bottom of my garage door is sufficient for me. You may want to get a CO detector to stay safe. Any time you burn fuel there is a risk of CO. Awesome Mike! This heater has been a God send in the garage. Already cold in Michigan & getting colder :) I remodeled a room last Winter & there was no heat at the customers house. @RCInsiders
@RCInsiders 3 жыл бұрын
Hey alpha. I looked at that one as well, but in the end went with Dewalt. I have trusted Dewalt for decades & so far this propane heater is performing great. Heats the large garage in minutes & then I just shut it off till I'm cold again :) I definitely wanted cordless capability as I often go to job sites that have no power. I can get 12-20 hours from the 2 batteries. This heater will also be a good alternate heat source should you lose power. I'm getting a 100# tank soon, so it should last the whole Winter with medium use in the garage. I'll bring the 15#'s to stay portable. Have you tried any other heaters for the garage? @RCInsiders
@RCInsiders 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Francisco, With the burning of any fuel you create CO & a reduced oxygen environment. If your garage is completely sealed with no incoming air, it is a good idea to keep a door cracked open, My garage is not perfectly sealed & I have ran the heater with doors shut for 4 hours without even hitting 100 ppm co You can get an air monitor like this if you want to know fir certain what the quality of the air is: amzn.to/3K63Nr1 If not, keep a window or door cracked :) Is your garage insulated? @RCInsiders
@RCInsiders 3 жыл бұрын
Awesome Tyrone! I couldn't be happier with this heater. It is recommended that you order any replacement parts from the manufacturer, That being said, you can pick up replacement hoses for propane heaters on Am or Eb. The important part is the regulator. Make sure it matches as this is what regulates the amount/flow of propane allowed into the burner. I have used replacement hoses on other heaters but I can't recommend one for safety reasons. Is this your first propane heater? Thanks for dropping by & Merry Christmas my friend!! #RCInsiders

Is this safe to use indoors like a shed or garage?
@RCInsiders
@RCInsiders 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Hunter, As with any appliance or tool that burns fuel, co2 & a reduced oxygen will occur. Normal co2 levels range around 400 to 1,000 ppm indoors. OSHA has established a safe co2 level at 10,000 ppm for a 8 HR work shift. Having the garage door cracked an inch or 2 like you see in the video, during a 4 hour brake job we never went over 800 ppm of co2. So with just a little ventilation you can safely enjoy a nice toasty garage 😀 We like to stress safety, so we recommend that you pick up a co2 monitor for peace of mind :) You can go as elaborate as you want with an air monitor, but this one will take care of most of your needs for the garage - amzn.to/3DqLCrd Thanks for dropping by & happy heating my friend!! #RCInsiders

Any idea how it does on your electric Bill??
@RCInsiders
@RCInsiders 3 жыл бұрын
Hi, It has been negligible so far. Not enough to notice a difference. I did a little research on this. The fan that the blows the heat runs at a constant speed when running. The best I can figure electric use is right around 5 - 10 cents per hour when plugged in. I did cost analysist on charging the batteries & its right around 25 cents for a complete charge from empty. At 10+ hours of runtime per battery that's that's about 2 cents + 25 cent charge. So...about 30 cents for 10 hours on battery or 50 cents to a dollar when plugged in. Ugh...Hope my math is close 😜😅 Very cheap on the electric side for a full day of warmth in the garage :) Are you thinking of getting one?
