The car is better and your driving is improving markedly. Keep up the good work. You may want to check on the cab forward design and if aero is effected. An experienced driver once told me, which I often forget, drive the track and not the other cars. Great video.

I wouldn't mind to see some more race reports running the Cougar, as I don't see the car to be the limiting factor already. The little Gav sitting comfortably in your grey matter, whistleblowing all your thoughts, is quite captivating as he makes it easy to follow the race.

Thanks. The views have been falling substantially compared to the beginning content so that tells me two things, one the progress hasn’t evolving fast enough and people are running out or people don’t want to see this kind of content past one or two vids.

I enjoy watching the racing part, I hope it'll become more regular (I like seeing someone else crash as well as me). Get yourself around to a few of the outdoor tracks with your new car as well, there's a few AE guys around who'll happily help. Mods wise it'd be more tuning than upgrades, ie springs, shock oil/holes etc maybe an alloy servo horn or front bulk head.

Nice work with the cougar Gav, modern cars can tear around the carpet. But tut tut tut for not running a servo saver, but got some nice custom mods to fix it 👍 would be good if you can do a back to back with your modern and vintage to see how the times stack up 👍

Nice work Gav - that Main race was great to watch. Could see you getting quicker around some of those turns when you found your rhythm. Interested to see what driving style differences you will have with B6.4 to the vintage Cougar. Im running Yokomo CAL3 at moment, and that is a really nice car on carpet!

I know the racing content isn't your most popular but I sure love the race footage. Your commentating makes it really exciting as RC racing can be pretty tough to follow. I'm excited to see your next build and maybe you'll keep on racing this Cougar and sharing the results with us. I ran my B6.3 last week again. There weren't enough drivers to have a separate novice class so I ran with the pack. There was a very clear delineation between the newer drivers' times and the experienced drivers. I qualified 7 of 9 (expecting dead last) and managed to finish the main in 5th! It was an absolute blast and am looking forward to more track fun 🙌. Not sure if your system shows your consistency percent, but you are too right, staying the course and being consistent is so important for maintaining position

Yep it will be run, just not on the channel but I will do some comparison times between the new buggy and the Cougar. Unfortunately it isn’t as popular but I do enjoy filming and making the content so I’ll keep going with it.

Tbh though that procat should’ve been in a different postcode lol 😂 The cougar looks amazing Iv still to build my procat I got for Christmas but iv been told to finish this 1/350 scale polar lights 1701 refit before I start anything else!!! The metal steering parts are really beautiful. Is this the same car with the prototype chassis? Maybe your creating a new class, Vintage Prototype. I would be all thumbs trying to control a graceful jump and hitting the corners straight at the same time.
