Another great video; always learn from your vids.. Didn’t know GP had loose muffler issue. I clean the threads with acetone and a airless sprayer brush (like a small bottle brush); available at Harbor Freight. Mount it to a drill, dip in acetone and have at it. You guys are great. Presentation is very easy to follow. Thanks for posting.

why use the gasket, makes no sense to me, and with the nordlocks what is the reason for gooping up your threads with silicone?

I just apply a dab of Vaseline petroleum jelly to the top of all the silicone tube, never had any dry out yet😁

Im doing this tonight for the first time with the same RTV. So you don't need to let the RTV sit for an hour before tightening like permatex?

DA suggest just the gasket that you do not need silicone
