Great tips. I do everything you say... but I use a plastic straw OVER the fuel line. They say it is the same plastic as the tank. I get the straw from McDonalds. So far so good. Using the VITON as a clamp works incredibly well!

Thank you for your video! I have started electric in the hobby as many newcomers and I am just getting into gas engines and bigger models, warbirds, more scale stuff, etc. Your videos have been a great resource of valuable information and priceless for someone like me that doesn't have access to flight clubs and people on the field with great experience in gassers. I know it's an older video but still - thanks and keep up the great work you do!

EXCELLENT INFORMATION VIDEO! I learned several new things to try. i would request that for future videos you invest in a decent shirt mounted microphone to enhance the quality of your video productions. Please also do a video on fuel line routing an hookup to your engine/vents.

i use barbs on any copper / brass fuel line from dubro solder them on and will hold you fuel line with a ziptie or clamp perfect

You say you normally don't like to use zip ties on fuel lines. Why is that? I use them all the time. What is the disadvantage?

the gas will desolve the plastic over time and you really should use barbs and tie wire

They don’t usually clamp well enough to be fuel proof. Might be good enough to keep a hose on but not tight or round enough to be fuel or air tight
