Full Route Journey on-board the Tyne and Wear Metro 'Green Line' between Airport and South Hylton via Newcastle. Recorded on-board Metrocar 4044.
This real time visual journey has been redone in order to redo this line one last time with a front seat view, and also with improved pixel and audio quality this time round too...
With the delivery of new Class 555 trains now happening, these trains have very little time left in service, with unique and iconic features such as the front seats being completely replaced, which is very unfortunate. Not to mention this also being the end of opening windows and forward facing seating...
Enjoy reliving what will be a piece of history in the months to come...

I loved this film, can you do the full Yellow line from St James to South Shields before we lose these front window views? When I retired I thought of doing exactly what you have done, no need now. I like your presentation with the stations listed at the bottom of the screen. I will save this to my playlists and it would be good to have the full yellow route as well. Hope you can do it. Thanks for your comment. Thankfully these Metros still have a while left in service, although it will be a hugely missed feature when the new trains are fully operational.
