A few notes: -Mickey’s Christmas Carol actually did get a theatrical release. It was included with the 1983 re-release of The Rescuers - Mickey and the Beanstalk was a short, but was part of a movie called “Fun and Fancy Free.” During World War II, the Disney Studios had little resources to make movies, so they made what were called “package films.” These were essentially collections of shorts trying to pass off as “movies,” and Fun and Fancy Free was one of them. It also included a short called Bongo. -Billy West also voiced Bugs Bunny in Space Jam Great episode! I loved Mickey’s Christmas Carol as a kid and I still watch it every year. I also remember watching Bah Humduck on Cartoon Network one year; I should watch it again sometime, I remember it being okay

The new DuckTales Christmas special has the designs for the Ghosts of Past and Present changed intentionally, and not for copyright reasons. Present was changed because they had a "no humans" policy for the universe of the reboot, so they had to make him an animal to avoid breaking that rule. And Past was changed because of what the character does in the story - they didn't think it'd be right to show Jimminy Cricket doing the things that the Ghost of Christmas Past does in that episode, so they just revamped the design.

About the Belle problem, you mention if I remember correctly she does just disappear after the breakup. In the book after the scene, Scrooge places a candle holder over the ghost of Christmas past thus ending the flashbacks prematurely. So in a way, Mickey's Christmas Carol is accurate on the part. My theory is most adaptations expand on Belle's life to add to the tragedy of Scrooge and Belle's story.

CellSpex is right about redesigning the Ghosts in Ducktales. Frank Angones wrote something about out favorite cricket being way too OOC with they story they wanted to tell, so they decided to redesign them all to be safe.

I actually enjoy the Goodfeathers of Animaniacs quite a bit. Sure Pesto's running gag can be a bit one noted, but they are one of the better segments of the show.

The two Simpsons Christmas episodes you should talk about are Simpsons Roasting On an Open Fire, and Miracle On Evergreen Terrace. They both deal with a “Christmas Gone Wrong” in different ways. Miracle in particular is really pushing for everything to go to crud.

The fact that this was meant to be mickey's big comeback but him not being the main character is just one big insult! I would've not cared if the characters said they were just acting in a play, but that wasn't the case! Shame on you Burny Mattinson!
