This song sounds as if it comes from a band or an artist who dominated the pop charts for decades and wrote one number 1 hit after another. This song is simply perfect.

1983? I was 25! My girlfriend and I were renting in West Ealing, and she organised a party one Friday. I heard this song on the radio and rushed out and bought it, and made sure it got played three times. Oh, the days when we’d stop dancing while the records were changed :-). Glad to see that millions share my good taste...

The 80's was absolutely brilliant and this song is one of so many. I used to drive an old metro back then and I had a cassette tape compilation with all the hits from the era. I used to drive around town with the windows down, big hair, and denim on Saturday afternoons with not a care in the world. Someone take me back!

This is a fantastic pop song, one of the first singles I bought as a teenager in 1983. Saw it on a recent Top Of The Pops repeat and was amazed to find I remembered every lyric and sang along from start to finish - how many times must I have repeat-played that record as a kid?! This song holds its own against any Duran track yet the band was more or less a one hit wonder. can't understand it. The keyboard player wrote it - Respect! I think maybe they needed more managing/styling and they could have been bigger. Nonetheless, a one hit wonder is better than a none hit wonder. They have a place in music history! Thanks for uploading, LOVE this song!
