I always "burp" the injector before injecting. After sucking up plastic into injector, hold the tip over your cup with the handle down slightly so all the air goes to the tip. Then push slowly till it "farts" all the air out. Then flip over and inject. You will get a more solid feel and not spongy and no air.

I've mixed paint for cars for years and I new the color was going to be purple looking. This is something I want to try to do there not cheap and not the color I want. With the color shifting I can get and want to make the unik stuff like you. Good video

You should use a space heater to warm up the molds.
