Excellent thank you. My Armada semi auto arrived about an hour ago and I'm letting it acclimate to room temperature but it's cold outside and the next step would be to clean it and I found this video very helpful because I was trying to figure out OK I need an extra hand to hold the charging handle back so now I need to make sure I have strong rubber bands.

The baffles are facing the wrong direction & the spring should go first before the baffles. I just disassembled mine & that's how they are installed from the factory. I would recommend using Ballistol to clean the rifle & the baffles. Alcohol will dry out o-rings & plastic. A light 100% silicone threadmill oil on the o-rings wiped off & a light coating of Molly Graphite grease on the bolt. I'd be very careful so nothing goes down the transfer port as well. I tend to stay 1/2" to 1" away from the transfer port when using my cleaning rod & then pull my dry patches through from the breach end. The transfer port sits about 1/2" in from where the pellet enters the chamber.

YES. I'm surprised that he didn't know all of that and the rubber bands BEND the charging handle down which will cause it to fail to MOVE and get stuck.

I have found that the bands bend the charging handle downward and will cause problems.

seams lik a waste of time to take the baffle off--stick a straw in the barrel, (leave it in) slid your worm with the cleaning patch through the barrel , the straw will let the patch go through the baffle, that's how I clean mine , never had a problem, saves taking the shroud off, seems like a waste of time and extra work, to take the shroud off.

I think you're wrong, according to the diagram it indicates that first goes the spring and then the 7 plastic baffles and the last screw. You first put the 7 plastic baffles and turned them upside down after the spring and screwed up. I would like to know your opinion since the manual says differently

Great video. I just received mine today from midway in the synthetic, may you could help me out, on mine the barrel band at the end doesn’t even touch the barrel, I can move the barrel around and see light all the way around it, just does not seem like it doing anything. It also came with no air in it, which may not be an issue, my compressor hasn’t arrived yet so I can’t try to fill it.
@NorthWestAirgun3 жыл бұрын
Noooooo, so sad to get a new pcp and not be able to fill it! Well, soon to be addressed. You better have pellets too, cause you’ll go through a lot with the semi-auto. Actually, barrel band on the mrod sar isn’t supposed to touch the shroud. It’s just there to keep you from accidentally banging the barrel hard enough to bend it. In fact, can be bad if they touch. The air tube can shift and change size very slightly as you shoot out the compressed air, from full to refill. That can pull the barrel off so the poi moves as you shoot down the fill. You start out dead on, and in the end can’t hit anything. That’s the theory, anyway.

@@NorthWestAirgun thank you very much for getting back to me, it’s my first pcp gun, so I just was not sure if I should return it, but of course I’m keeping it now, if it holds air that is, I was under the impression that when you receive a new gun it should have some air in it, this one has zero. Hopefully it will be ok.
